No one is ever at desk anytime hardly. Even at 730 -745 in AM when most people check out. I checkout a day early and I told them the night before and waited at desk to remind them because my whole time here they never seemed like people knew much here. So I called after waiting at at about 10am the same day I checked out and no one answered so I left a message. Then I called headquarters about charging me a night I wasn’t there and the desk lady said she remember checking me out. She couldn’t describe me but knew she checked me out. I have a very distinct feature, they couldn’t say what it was. This goes with the turf actually. Because the maid decided to throw away my medical item because she thought it was trash, my bet is she don’t know English. The morning breakfast was rough lots of dirty counters, the floor nasty the room smells of mildew. The parking is real weird. You got some by the building then Another parking lot beside it that is real big and nice if you have a trailer. Worst of all is sleeping. If you stay on the west side of hotel there is a trucking company or something that runs all night or till 2-3 am which is when I finally went to sleep. This is big reason I left early. This place will be my last Best Western to ever stay at, except I may give my free room to a hobo in Portland. The Lobby don’t match the rooms. They are dated and mildew it’s a better by the hour hotel in my opinion. I was forced here because of dealing with an issue in this part of town and no other hotels available close by. Now I know why this one was open. I actually got sick at morning Buffett. It was dark in there and I should have looked at quality of food and stuff better, so take a small light to look over it items are clean or been dropped in phone. The staff was ALL newer hires and no one really knew anything about basic questions or that they should be at the desk when people are checking out in AM. I waited 15 min and no one was there I suspect that and not caring my room key was in the jar mattered. It allows dogs but I felt picked on for having one. I mean they put u on 3rd floor and we have to walk our dogs a lot. I have never been at a hotel that puts you so far from front door with a dog. That was weird also. When I asked for a new room the desk ladies little heard almost blew up and I have to wait a long time?….anyway, no more best western/ I been using Hilton hotels more and they have cheaper pet fees and they spell them out it’s not a guessing game with different desk people telling you 3 different prices. My first quote was 25 for a single stay, the. 30/nt when I got there, then that changed to just one or two night so they charged me just one night for 30 bucks. But they still charged me for a night I...
Read moreWARNING!!! ATTENTION TO ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. Sometime after 2 am Monday May 14, 2018, just shortly after Mother's Day ended. I had one of the absolute WORST experiences of my life at this hotel! My vehicle was VANDALIZED - the right passenger rear window was smashed and 2 of my suitcases and my juicer was stolen. They took my clothes, my important business papers. You can imagine how devastating this was for my daughter and I. Especially since we parked up front right by the front office. We woke up early Monday morning (around 6:30 am) happily prepared to make our juice and unfortunately, we come to find broken window glass on the ground and back seat of car. There was a 2nd vehicle vandalized also same thing back window smashed out and stole 1 large suitcase. The police arrived 20-25 minutes later after we reported the incident to front desk. We had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for the General Manager to arrive because apparently is the only one with the PASSWORD to the video camera footage. He arrived HALF AN HOUR LATE . Once he arrived to work he asked front desk staff why police car was here she informed General Manager of my vandalism. Manager didn't approach to say anything to my daughter nor myself. EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS. My daughter saw General Manager go to the back area where the police was located. After about 25 minutes I went to my room to charge my phone and I returned to the front lobby. The police officer has left and I don't see the General Manager. I proceed to the front desk and asked to speak to the General Manager. He approach me and says how can I help you? REALLY!!!! WHAT THE HELL? I'M THE VICTIM OF VANDALISM AT THE HOTEL YOU ARE THE GENERAL MANAGER OF AND YOU DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE THAT. I asked what is the status? He said the SIGNS ARE POSTED OUTSIDE AROUND THE HOTEL THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT. On the video footage they can see a car pull up to my car but they don't see the guy take anything or burst the vehicle window. WOW!!! NO SINCERITY - NO EMPATHY NOTHING. So not only do they not assist you with theft, they LIE and say there is nothing on the camera footage. MY LUGGAGE AND JUICER JUMPED OUT AND BROKE THE DAMN GLASS. We had stayed at this hotel for 11 days over the last few weeks. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. YES YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY. The General manager did not APOLOGIZE. The customer service is DISGUSTING. There is NO CORPORATE OFFICE TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH. DAMN DAMN DAMN. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS because at this hotel you are only a PAYING...
Read moreThis hotel is overall a great value if you want something off the strip that's clean, simple, and close enough to drive downtown or to motor speedway within 30min. Upon arrival, the advertised EV charging station was not properly set up and non-functional. The front desk clerk was friendly, but had a very long phone call with someone and a line started to form after about 20 minutes. I had called ahead to extend the reservation by a day, but the person on the line actually booked it as a separate stay (not this franchisee's fault, but still required me to go down to the lobby and fix it). My room was clean and generally well-kept, but there were still hairs on the bathroom floor under the sink and the fridge dial was stuck at a temperature that froze all my food solid. Lighting in the room was rather harsh white LED bulbs that could be a little softer and warmer. The blackout shade did not fully seal out light, which made it hard to sleep since I was sleeping during daylight hours for EDC. Walls in the hotel are exceedingly thin and noise was constant; I could hear every word of the conversations next door even when they were speaking at normal volume. The smart TV has Netflix and other apps, but don't expect it to work because it's super slow. Thankfully there was an HDMI cable included to connect my laptop, and the free Wi-Fi was just fast enough to watch some shows (5mbps for free version). Housekeeping only came the first day and ignored the sign on the door asking for service - I'm not sure if they only clean during mornings, but I was asleep and left my room to put the "please clean" sign on after 5pm (which was still untouched when I arrived at 5am each day). The soap and shampoo was somewhat waxy and left a residue on everything while smelling like lemon Pledge. All of the management staff were great at their jobs and very helpful when I asked for help with something. Plus, I appreciated that there was always a parking space available each...
