First, it's a motel, not a hotel. If you're looking to relive your college dorm days, this is the place. Nothing is like the well lit photos online. Cheap furnishings, harsh lighting, only free channels on the small TV. Check in was fine... Until the gentleman at the counter gave me a form to sign that included waving my rights to appeal any charges made to my card, including theft of property, damage, errors, etc. Nothing dubious there.... Disappointment continued with the lack of any type of secure locking. They literally hand you a house key to a standard home Depot front door knob. My biggest frustration with this location is how dirty it was. I put towels down on the floor so my feet wouldn't get dirty from the lack of maintenance. When I went to use the shower I found the previous visitor's bar of soap on the non-working liquid soap dispensers. You can see from the baseboards that a dirty mop looks to have been run over the floors, occasionally. The floor was worn through, and any of the furniture felt like it was going to crumble if you touched it. The one positive was the mattress. I don't know if it's everybody's taste, but I found it to be very comfortable. What worries me is the holes in the sheets, and other poor maintenance. It makes me wonder if they even change the linens. Towels were stained and had an odd chemical smell to them. This is the type of local motel that ruins the reputation of the non-chain local operations....
Read moreI was skeptical at 1st. And barely gave all-in 5 star for any establishment... After browsing many places with limited budget, I couldn't believe that i came across nice pictures of rooms of G Hotel. I went for it through booking.com. It was simple, quick & no hidden fee. When we arrived, the outside didn't look promising. The 1st thing came out of my mouth when check in was "does the room look like in the website?" Angela, the kindness-friendliest-thoughtful human being, said "I believe so." When noticed my condition (swollen & breathing hard at that time because of heart failure) she went extra mile and make sure am comfortable during our 2-night stay. The manager/owner, Gabriel, was kind too. He patiently helped and answered my questions during breakfast.
For my husband and I who don't drink, smoke nor gamble, Las Vegas was never our favorite destination for a getaway. But G Hotel in Henderson changed it. It's affordable but NOT cheap. Hopefully it'd stay the same, better and more people know about this hotel. Their service itself worths coming back!!
Very satisfied and surely coming...
Read moreThis Motel has a lot of potential to be a solid 3 star place. The room that I had was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable, which I appreciate very much. The reasons I had to remove a star is because there are no lamps or desk in the room. It is like being in a cave. The breakfast is basic- mini bagels and cheese, sometimes oatmeal. No butter or cream cheese but there is sour cream and oil spray which is strange. If they improve the lighting and make a few minor food changes, it...
