My recent 30-day stay at the Residence Inn was overall a positive and enjoyable experience. The front desk staff, especially Katherine, and the housekeeping team were consistently kind, professional, and attentive, making my stay comfortable and welcoming. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-suited for both young professionals like myself and families. I also appreciated the basketball court in the back, which was a great feature for relaxation and recreation. While my stay was largely pleasant, I did experience one less-than-ideal interaction with a staff member named Kardell. When I requested a replacement room key, despite providing all the necessary identification and information, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. Even after following instructions to park my car and return later, the situation remained unresolved without a clear explanation. That said, this was an isolated incident, and the rest of the overnight staff were courteous, efficient, and highly accommodating. I would recommend this Residence Inn for its comfortable accommodations, excellent amenities, and outstanding service from the majority of its team. I trust that management will address opportunities to ensure a consistently high standard of service across all interactions. I am still rating this place 5/5 because I am not going to let single person reflect badly on the entire property of my 1 month stay.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Upon check in we were told that housekeeping only comes when you call and ask- not a big deal. We get to our room it was very spacious, we did a bug check lifting mattresses, box spring covers looked behind night stands and such and no signs of anything. The bathroom was a nice size if I had to complain about something it would be there's only glass covering 1/2 of the shower and when my kids would bathe somehow they could get water everywhere! The kitchen was equipped with a few pans, cups,dishes- enough to cook a little something but I'm not sure it's equipped for a full meal - and I get that and hey I'm on vacation I'm not trying to cook!!! We enjoyed both pools we were in there every day, we brought our nieces and nephews over so they could hang with our kids it was more fun than paying to go to rapids or the zoo! There is also an outdoor grill that is available to cook on, which is great! For reference this hotel is roughly 25 minutes from Kendall and about 30 minutes from North Miami so if you are looking to get downtown Miami, it's going to be a little longer than 30.

This hotel is suitable for short stays 3 or 4 days after which housekeeping is horrible. I was told the hotel has only 2 housekeepers so my room would go for up to 8 days without housekeeping. How is it even possible to have only 2 housekeepers for a big hotel like this. I wrote emails and attached pictures of shower room with molds to the managers (Ch and An) who never bothered to respond. I knew then it was time for me to move to another hotel after staying the this hotel for 8 months as a first responder. I forgot my blanket and l called back the next day and was told they never saw it. Councidentally Ch answered the phone l asked him about my emails he said he never got them. Question is How can they not see a big blanket my guess housekeeping either stole it or simply threw it away. If you are planning a long stay and you like to sleep in dirty bed and have molds in your shower then you got it. If you are on a short trip you will love it the breakfast is excellent too so enjoy.

Very disappointing...I booked a 1 bedroom with 2 queens and sofa bed. The sofa sagged significantly in the middle. The mattress inside appeared original and you could feel every single wire when you laid on it. I requested a roll away bed from the front desk but was told none were available but they would have housekeeping to "double check" and still let me know later. Checking later, still nothing and the clerk said she would leave a note for the morning crew and check back tomorrow. When I did, I was told the hotel doesn't have any at all due to renovations (which I saw no sign of) and planned on buying all new ones. I explained that I needed something for the fifth person in our room to sleep on, did they have another room available or something? I was offered a mattress pad as the best they could do.||||We stayed on the 4th floor which smelled of a wet garbage dump and felt like 80 degrees in the hallway. The rest of the hotel smelled strongly of Febreze. Our room would smell like oil/diesel and get very humid unless kept at 73 degrees. We were assigned an ADA room that was WELL USED. The stove fan and light did not work. The ice maker in the freezer did not work. The button on the microwave was half broken. The toilet paper holder was broken, hanging on the wall by one side. The small glass shelf next to the sink was half broken with the screws slipping out of the drywall and having to keep pushing it back in. The mini built in dresser adjacent to the bathroom, the drawers smelled so bad inside, we didn't keep our stuff in it. The ADA shower was a nightmare. I know it's designed to accommodate a wheelchair but the shower floor was not built to drain properly, so the water was running into the bathroom clear across to the other side and there was an additional central drain in the middle of the bathroom to drain the water. Anyone needing to walk into the bathroom after you shower is walking into a flood and could slip and fall. We ran out of towels because we put them on the floor to try to keep the water from going everywhere. ||||This hotel has a large construction clientele with lots of parking spaces taken up by extra large utility trucks and their personal vehicles. I suspect this clientele leads to the condition of the rooms and unique smells in this hotel; think boy's locker room but oil and diesel from construction workers. ||||POSITIVES: Curtains kept the light out good. The beds were comfortable. I never made it to breakfast so can't...

Saturday, January 3, 2019 I had a confirmed reservation when I arrived at the hotel I gave my last name lloopa person who is called Nick tells me that I do not have a reservation that does not appear in the system he tells me to communicate with the representative looplodelo my group because you could not give a quantum without knowing well what is happening I'm still here the confirmation number answers me that the number is too long and the system does not want to take it and so susesivamente that I gave another name I give my daughter's of my husband and nothing but of course he did not have many wishes to spend work and do something for me. Well I breathe not to disturb me and the past minutes he finds me in the system and he tells me is that they put his surname as his name and he makes me the delivery of the card its how much is the 225.Ok I take my card and I ask you have a car to upload my things the Nick stays as if he was not the gentleman who was in the area of housekeeping or public area tells me do not there is a car but I can give you one of the laundry hahaha WAO!
