Shoi’s Chinese cuisine is one of the very best Asian (Chinese/Venezuelan) cuisine with that Venezuelan twist in flavor. Excellent food and very yummy. We had the Venezuelan Lumpia’s (Venezuelan rolls) with ham, they were very yummy. We also had the chicken fried rice, also cooked to perfection. I also ordered the chicken lo mein (with noodles) and it was also very good. Everything we ate was very yummy and tasty. It was like eating chines food in Venezuela.

The service was quick and Filomena was very nice and attentive to my order.

The food comes in two ordering deep dish sizes, a small and a medium size one.

The medium size could easily serve 2 persons when ordering other side dishes to eat. The small is around $10 and the medium is around $20. But the medium size I think is a better deal.

I think this is the best place to eat Chinese food with that Venezuelan flavor.

Highly recommend place to eat Chinese...

I really wanted to like this place but it’s not possible.

It’s a small restaurant and they have some seating indoor and outdoor which is fine. However, it takes quite a while (30-40 min) for your food to be ready so this isn’t lunch worthy if you come during your work lunch, unless you order way ahead of time which could be difficult if you’re working. Besides this, I wanted to give the food a chance.

When I tried the food, it tastes pretty decent. It’s pretty much just your typical greasy Chinese food; absolutely no Hispanic flair to it. I thought I might actually come back because the price was not bad and it came with fried rice as well. The worse part for me is the fact that I found a piece of hard metal stuck on one of the bean sprouts in the fried rice. Don’t think I would feel comfortable eating the food here again.

Update: kinda telling how they respond to the positive reviews but no apologies for...

Just got off a cruise with friends and my pregnant wife wanted some food. We were at a nearby hotel and just wanted some Chinese! When we sat down, we noticed we were immediately swatting flies away. We decided to stay and order. The food was ok, my General T's chicken was NOT spicy and rather tasteless on the inside. The sauce was ok. We also noticed that all the sauces, including the soy sauce was MSG free... There's nothing wrong with MSG and I would have been fine with no MSG if the food had some more salt and if there had been no flies. Staff was a bit standoffish, but not bad at all. Good people, bad restaurant practices. We also noticed that this place was serving like 7 other restaurant names, probably for 3rd party delivery orders. Really...
