I get that this nation and State must develop and grow. However, the entire "luxury" and money making goals all seem to cater to real-estate, super upper class, etc. WHAT ABOUT THE END USER SKIER / RIDER? I mean it has become so expensive to ski/Ride most everywhere. Lift tickets are nearing $300 for 1 day adult! That is insane figuring most resorts do not own the land they operate on (BLM) How can a middle or upper-middle class family go sking? It will cost $1,500 a day just for lift tickets, lodging another $1,500 daily=( $20k a week ski trip). How much will Mayflower charge for lift tickets bc of their state of the art lifts, etc.? $500 a day adult? It's rediculous!! Skiing should be available for most people. There are families making $250K a year and still can't afford to go skiing anymore bc of these massive, expensive, costly developments and the-out of-state people running them for profits. I support capitalism. It defeats socialism where none of us would have ANYTHING. And, it created our great, free, wealthy country. However, NOT when its going to destroy the best sport ever. Look at Airbnb and VRBO....they are a joke now. So expensive, so many fees, rules...its not worth it. We refuse to use any of them anymore. Paying to stay at a resort with amentities is cheaper.

This is why small resorts are the way to go if you love to ski/ride, but arnt a billionaire. Lower lift tics, cheaper lodging and still plenty of terrain to ski/Ride. Brighton, Loveland, Monarch, Sierra at tahoe, diamond Peak, Solitude and even Sundance, Purgatory, Wolfcreek...Crested Butte is still fairly priced...there are plenty everywhere. But, dont tell anyone:) For $280 lift ticket at Park City per day...how much terrain can you actually ski in 1 day?? They need to have more options, like HOURLY lift tickets, or use their 'technology' to create system where you pay for how many lifts you take per day. A fair system. Because, I can assure you.....most of the land that is skied on is National or State Lands....so,why are the costs not controlled? IN TURN, WE THE PEOPLE OWN THE LANDS. NOT THESE HOYTIE TOYTIE DEVELOPERS FROM NYC. ..where a few executives or partners who own everything at the resort are making billions of profits from radically high prices while paying a land lease to the FEDS. It makes no sense.

Lastly, apparently these billionaire profiteers of the Mayflower either failed at snowboarding, or never tried. Thats their loss. I love skiers and snowboarders...and the Mayflower should allow all. There are...

Whats with the huge spot lights illuminated all night on the east slope, south of the hotel construction. Is anyone from the Extell site management checking on the these things? It's very obnoxious to the night skies and wildlife / bird migration is now in progress which can be very disorienting. Please turn them off or shield their...

Not the Deer Valley experience one expects, yet. Portopottys, not shoveled walks, no lodge. I’m sure in a year or two this will change but right now it was not what I...
