I absolutely loved my stay at the Trail-er! It was such a great place to rest during my section hike into town because it’s literally right on the trail when you get out of the woods. The Trail-er is bright and clean and relaxing with bunk rooms and showers, plus a kitchen and common area. Blue Ridge Hiking Company has high end lightweight gear available for rental, plus some dehydrated meals, and supplies like bug spray and sunscreen if needed. The bunks are super comfortable with linens. The caretaker is very knowledgeable about local trails, and is a triple crowner. The location is perfect, and everything is within short walking distance, including the diner, tavern, post office, and outfitter. Would highly...

This is a trail and hiker orientation business that has two aspects. I have rated the service for the AT hiker, not the guided hike part of the business. The trail-er is located right on the AT and is close to the village. Hikers can drop in or call ahead...
