I would give this place zero stars if possible. My fiancé and I made a trip to hot springs to visit the App Trail. I had been to hot springs before and really enjoyed it and wanted to share it with him. My fiancé loves coffee and thought this would be a good place to get a cup. When arriving we placed our order with a man with long hair who was talking to other people while engaging with us (kind of annoying but we ignored it). The house coffee (black) took over ten minutes to be made and we were the only customers who had not received anything. My fiancé saw some stickers sitting on the counter and asked the barista, "Are these free?" he then shouted "Yes they are, sorry this is taking so long!" My fiancé and I began to get two stickers however, the packaging was not opened. My fiancé opened it because he thought the man knew when he asked. However, the barista came over and very rudely said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?".... Everyone sitting at the counter stopped and stared... My fiancé said, "I am sorry I thought you said it was okay" the barista then replied with "WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THIS IS OKAY?? I WILL OPEN THESE WHEN I AM GOOD AND READY" he snatched the stickers back and asked about four times in a row "What is wrong with you, why would you do that?" My fiancé was apologizing and I handed the sticker back and said "you can just keep them, I don't want it anymore anyway" He refused to take it back but we paid and went on our way after the entire coffee shop starred at the barista in shock of what just happened. The coffee was also burnt tasting and pretty terrible.... I will not come back here ever again and honestly, put a really bad taste in my mouth about Hot Springs in general. This was a very...
Read moreI have to say I was a little disappointed in the customer service at this cute little shop. We brought a group of people to the campground and a few of us decided to walk to town excited to go to the coffee shop. One of the young ladies ordered a cold vanilla coffee. The lady behind the counter asked how she liked her coffee and the young lady replied sweet. After receiving her coffee, tasting it and adding extra sweetener, the coffee just wasn’t what she expected. The young lady asked if she could switch it out for something else like the mango smoothie and possibly pay the difference between the two. The lady behind the counter replied she didn’t think it would be morally right to do that since they we’re a small business. Not trying to get something for free but a little flexibility would have gone a long way and this review would have...
Read moreI LOVED my experience at Artisun! I stopped through at random headed home through Hot Springs to Nashville and it was so warm and welcoming! Energetic and eccentric, full of local goods, art, crafts, and more. Every corner seemed to have something special. The coffee was everything I needed and delish! Yummy fresh food to pick from for a quick bite, like daily made local quiches and energy balls). Philip is great with recommendations too! One super groovy human, and full of kindness and interesting conversation!
It’s the type of rare find one hopes to stumble on and escape into on a beautiful morning or afternoon. I only wish I had more time to relax there a bit! Thanks again to everyone at Artisun, I’ll definitely...
