Never in my life have I had a more startling experience with a hotel regarding safety and general hotel practices. The good, first: When I finally received a room that was not already occupied, it was mostly clean and of good standing. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, Buffet style, had decent variety and was free + free coffee/juice. The staff that worked the morning shift were DRASTICALLY different than the night shift staff, so I'm giving It 2 stars instead of 1. Ok now for what you came here for: --Their shuttle driver from the airport was going 20mph in a 45 and 30 in a 65mph. She regularly swerved onto the shoulder of the highway and continued to drive on it without correcting herself into a lane. She also muttered several things including "oh, he scared me!", (another car) "I'm not used to driving this vehicle yet...." As well as "I've been pulled over a lot before" for what.....going too slow, Or driving on the shoulder!? --Hotel booked me and another person in rooms and both of us had OTHER PEOPLE ALREADY IN OUR ROOMS! This is a big no-no!!!! The other person also had a BROKEN deadbolt. Not cool, or safe! ((Especially when you're gonna overbook your rooms and strangers can just walk in!)) --Clerk took over 15 minutes just to give us our room cards and another 10 to get us the 2nd pair. He was super fidgety not sure what that was about but the whole situation was just uncomfortable for everyone involved.... --Elevator safety permit expired, april 2021. This isn't a big deal on it's own, but coupled with everything else It's just another disservice to customers.

We decided to stay here because it was close to the airport in Indianapolis. We checked in at 7pm. After my husband's mothers funeral. We got to the room that smelled funny, the toilet seat was up, and the beds were not changed. My husband went down to the front desk because the phone in the room was not working. He returned with sheets. I asked him why. He said that the two workers at the front desk asked, "You're just checking the beds now?" My husband told them that we just checked in. They didn't remember him within 30 minutes of checking in. So, being an owner of a cleaning company for over 20 years, went down there to talk to management. I told him our experience and my routine of getting the room ready for unpacking. I told him I spray inside the drawers with lysol and wipe them out. Then inspection time for beds. I let him know what I found in the beds (hair, makeup, fuzz, and under the fitted sheet on the mattress pad cover...a fingernail!)and that I am appalled that he would give the customer sheets to change their own beds. I told him there was no way I was going to make the beds and demanded another room. He agreed and apologized and gave us a new clean room.

Room had old food behind bed when we accidentally scooted it over. Pool and hot tub were DISGUSTING, couldn't see bottom of pool because it was so dirty. Brown foam was floating at top of hot tub! The chemicals were so strong in the water that it was burning our noses and eyes. (I'm glad they had chemical, but that extreme amount shows how incredibly dirty it all was!) Plus the ceiling was disintegrating above the pool and all the metal in the room was incredibly rusty. Breakfast staff was wiping nose and touching food with their dirty snot hands. Plus we were so cold because our window wouldn't close in our bedroom. Finally before we left we figured out why, and it was because there was a used glass pipe stuck in the window frame with leftover marijuana in it! So gross!!! We paid $200 for two full beds in a tiny dirty room and it was NOT WORTH IT.

During my stay at the Country Inn & Suites, I had the pleasure of interacting with Jesse, the hotel manager, and I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism, attentiveness, and commitment to guest satisfaction. Jesse exemplifies what it means to provide exceptional customer service, and his dedication to ensuring a positive experience for all guests is evident in every interaction.

My visit was under difficult circumstances, as I was in Indianapolis for an unexpected funeral. Jesse’s empathy and kindness during this time made a significant difference. From the moment I checked in, he greeted me with warmth and ensured that the process was smooth and stress-free. When I mentioned the nature of my trip, Jesse went out of his way to offer support.

One particular instance that stood out was when I had an issue with my room’s air conditioning. Jesse addressed the problem promptly, personally checking on the issue and arranging for me to move to another room while it was resolved. Additionally, as my departure approached, Jesse offered complimentary transportation to the airport. This thoughtful gesture not only saved me time and money but also demonstrated his genuine care for his guests’ well-being.

Jesse’s leadership was also apparent in the way his staff operated. The team at the Country Inn & Suites was friendly, attentive, and efficient, which speaks to Jesse’s ability to foster a positive work environment. It’s clear that his leadership style inspires his staff to prioritize guest satisfaction.

Overall, Jesse’s professionalism, compassion, and genuine care for his guests made my stay at the Country Inn & Suites truly memorable, even under challenging circumstances. I would highly recommend this hotel, not only for its amenities and convenient location but also for the exceptional service provided by Jesse and his team. If I return to Indianapolis, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again, thanks to the outstanding experience Jesse...

We stayed here on a park, stay, fly package prior to heading out for a week long vacation, so for us the vacation was supposed to start at this hotel. The staff was friendly. The shuttle service was prompt and direct. The drivers were very kind and dropped us exactly where we needed to be. The rooms were spacious, but dated/dirty. They had obviously been cleaned, but there were several spots on the carpet and on the furniture. The shower head was missing the fixture around it that goes into the wall, so really there was a gaping hole in the shower from which the shower head protruded. Had this been it, I would have written a 4 star review. However, we requested a quiet room and were placed directly next to the a/c unit for the entire hotel - so there was nothing quiet about hour room. The a/c inside of our room was in the bedroom at the foot of one of the beds, and rattled the door all night, every single time it kicked on. The door itself, we discovered at 3am, was not closed in any manner, so the constant rattling was because it was not locked or secured in any way. Further, the room temperature was very uneven, when the a/c was on it was freezing, as soon as it kicked off we were roasting. Needless to stay we started our trip with everyone having slept 1-2 hours in total. When we went to leave, the front desk agent was watching television in the breakfast area, which was closed, and no breakfast bags were provided, though they had mentioned them. I don't imagine they were much, but if you offer them to guests, they should be provided accordingly.

In short, the hotel is convenient, close to the airport, the shuttle is handy, but if you want to actually sleep before your trip, inspect your room thoroughly (including the a/c door) before unloading your bell cart, or...

There were a couple things that I wasn't happy with. The comforter on one of the beds was dirty, but they switched it our for me right away. Also, the bathroom shower was not solidly connected to the wall and moved when you turned on the shower. You could also visibly see cracks in the wall in the shower. Not too bad, so now on to the good stuff!

We stayed Thursday through Monday with my 5 kids. We got a two queen room with a sofa sleeper. The room was big enough for everyone to be comfortable. The room was pretty quiet, even on the weekend. The Indoor pool was amazing for kids and goes from 3 to 4 to 5 feet deep. There is also a hot tub. Perfect for a family with kids. The pool does get pretty busy on the weekends though, as there were a few birthday parties, but it still ended up being really fun. The workout room is pretty small but has everything you might want. They also have a business room if you need computer access. The also serve breakfast every morning which was great. Breakfast usually consisted of eggs, sausage, waffles or a bread of choice, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and they have various different juices, milks and coffees to choose from. Breakfast was great. The also have papers in the lobby every morning, to go bags if you can't stay for breakfast, free fruit, and cookies on the counter, and coffee for whenever you want it. This really was a good stay, and I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the dirty comforter. I even originally booked Thurs through Sunday and then decided to stay until Monday later and it was super easy. I really liked staying here, it was very family friendly had EVERYTHING we needed, and it was easy to get to everything we needed to around town. Will def stay here again if we go back to...
