Baymont by Wyndham Iowa Lake Charles — Hotel in Iowa

This hotel is "newly renovated" but the towels are all stained, there is a massive case of bed bugs that they refuse to acknowledge. After I got out of the shower and checked the bed I found the bed bug carcasses that they acted like 'were not bed bugs', then the lady said she had processed a refund for me and gave me a copy of my original receipt, when I told her it was not acceptable they then decided I owed them $30 for the shower I took and would only refund part of the room then. An excellent hotel and reasonable price. Welcomed our pet for a small fee. Newly renovated, everything is brand new and up to date. Bed and linens new. A smart TV that we could sign into our own Netflix and Amazon Prime account and watch what we like. Tub with shower. Free continental breakfast with waffle iron. Nice manager and the rest of the staff. Right next to the freeway exit ramp and Love's truck stop but I didn't hear any road or truck noise. Rooms must have good sound insulation and solid window. Truckers if you have a 34 to do this is the perfect place. Either back into the drive way or take up the parking lot (hardly anyone at that hotel) or park at Loves or Pilot. Rooms are reasonable prices , pets allowed at a small fee. Rooms are clean and look new , good service too. Only thing that doesn’t make it 5 stars is the breakfast. No eggs , no bacon , no pastries.
