We were visiting friends last night, in Iowa, and was heading home. We were hungry and wanted Sonic. Reluctantly stopped in the Iowa location. Should've known better. They couldn't hear me, for whatever reason, and kept putting things on the board that I didn't say. Then after the third time trying to correct it, the girl taking my order, was laughing and giggling about something. My wife, my grandchild, and I just wanted a meal. I don't know what the problem is in Iowa. This Sonic is the absolute worst I have ever been to. It's not just Sonic in Iowa it's Iowa period. Service is horrible everywhere. Slow, wrong orders, rude etc. It's poor management and i think it's mainly at night. No adult supervision! No one is held accountable for anything anymore. It pains me to say this about Iowa because I was raised in Iowa my whole life. These people at Sonic are an embarrassment! They don't take pride in their work. I can't believe upper management can't do anything about this location. If you can't go during school hours don't go. That would be my suggestion. Stalls need to be fixed are removed. I explained that I wanted large extra extra crispy fries again to the manager, who stated, “Yes, I got it”. Food came out. It was a small fry which was I check and showed carhop girl that they soft, limp and small. I made payment with my card for original order, but when I reported the mistake made by the manager. The manger tried to say that we did not order the large fries. I had to remind him that I ordered a large fry extra extra crispy. I don’t mind paying for what I ordered, but that is what I expect to get. I had to dig around and find a $1.32 the manager charged me for his mistake. Last night we went to sonic got an oreo blast. Look at the pictures, we ordered large but the blast did not even come close to the top that clear plastic thing was a waste. Sonic you may not being increasing prices but you are skimping on the servings. Shame on yall.
3/2/23 ordered online easy, picked up order, ordered onion rings, the bag literally had 5 rings and it was a large order and let's call it extra crispy. Again Sonic you disappointed us again. Am lowering my rating. 6/1/23 Ordered on line, gave them 30 minutes to prepare now I know I'm not their only customer but I drive up at my appointed time to wait 15 minutes for girl to come out and tell me they were out again on an item we ordered, asked what I would like to substitute, then had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for it to be cooked.
