Pendleton Pointe Lodging — Hotel in Island Park

We were very disappointed with this accommodation. We booked via booking.com|The photos are very deceiving. They show the inside of cosy cabins but the other rooms are like converted garages. Very basic amenities. Microwave and fridge. No glasses, cutlery, crockery or utensils. Not even an ice making machine on site like most accommodations in USA. There is no one on site to talk to, everything is by email. We complained about the room as we didn’t want to spend a our second night here. After a few emails they said we may be able to change us to a cabin. After that they ignored any further emails. I thought the floor looked dirty, so I gave it a wipe over. It was filthy. See photo. Our room overlooks an RV parking site. Not the best view. |We met a couple that had just arrived and had not received the room door code so they couldn’t get into their room. The room was not ready on arrival. They had forgotten to make it ready. Bed not made, bathroom and kitchen not cleaned, no towels, coffee machine missing. At 11 o'clock in the evening our room was made ready. We were very tired and just wanted to sleep. We were not given an alternative room. They promised to refund 50% of the booking price for the inconvenience. Pendleton Pointe Lodging did not fulfill this promise. They have ignored our request to this day and have not responded to our messages. The owner also does not respond to messages from Booking. Rooms are otherwise nice. We had such a great experience with our stay. I was a little sceptical just because there's not as many reviews with this place since it's newer but wow. Our room was very clean. Everything is brand new. There was a full kitchen with fridge, stove, and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and massive. Loved that they had DirecTV and we could enjoy watching a movie. Also location was great because across the street was the Last Chance Bar and Grill and that food was to die for! We went right across the street for breakfast and lunch. Great place, try it...
