Moose Lodge — Hotel in Jackman

The owners were very friendly and The Cabin that we rented was beautiful, however, I would have expected it to be cleaner, especially considering the time we are in. The floors were not vacuumed or washed. The microwave was dirty and something had dripped all down the front of the stove. The grill utensils in our deck still had food on the from the previous guests days before. When we opened the door to the deck, old food wrappers came flying out from under the couch. I was also disappointed that the website was a bit misleading as it showed the cabin as a private cabin. We did not find out until we arrived that the owners had made an apartment for themselves out of the bottom floor. It was not very private with doors banging and dogs barking. It would have been more appropriate if this new apartment was,mentioned prior to us booking as we would have looked elsewhere. Just very...

This is our fourth year returning to Moose Lodge for our annual snowmobile trip. Ed and Peggy are such a pleasure to work with; very responsive and accommodating. It is very convenient that we can rent snowmobiles right from Ed, as years past we have rented from local companies who do not provide the same customer service (some will not even deliver snowmobiles) Ed is so gracious with lending out his snowmobile gear and making sure we are properly dressed so we enjoy our time. Always nice jumping into the hot tub when we return home from being out riding all day! They are so welcoming to our group and our dogs. My husband and I just finished a week at the Canoe Cabin at Moose Lodge and we had a wonderful time. Ed and Peggy have put so much thought and consideration into the set up of the cabin that we were blown away with how at home we felt. After riding the trails all day, and mostly in the rain, it was nice to know once we got back to our cabin that we had all the comforts of home. I can't say enough positives about the owners and the cabin. We won't be staying anywhere else when we visit Jackman again. Do yourself a favor and book yourself at the Moose Lodge. We can't wait...
