If we could give Cozy Cove Cabins 10 stars we would.
We stayed for a weekend for ice fishing. Many of our local waters were not frozen as of yet, but big wood had 6-8”. We have a YouTube channel called NEST outdoors, and were in need of ice fishing content!
The cabins were extremely comfortable. We felt like we were right at home. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean!
Travis the owner told us when we first called that the fishing was so good that you can catch them right out front of the cabin.
He was not wrong, we must have caught close to 100 fish in 2 days.
We spent half the time in our pop up in deeper water. But wanted to fish shallower the next day. They even have a ice fishing hut for rent when the wind picks up, which is perfect and in a great spot!
Travis and his wife are such amazing people. The hospitality they offered while there was top notch, and left there feeling like we met new friends.
Not only do we suggest anyone to go, we have already talking about when the next time we will be there!
Thanks Cozy...
Read moreAt first impression, it looked a little too rustic for our tastes. But, not to worry. The property is under excellent new ownership and I have no doubt the new owners will slowly make improvements. We had Cabin 2, an unrenovated unit with the best view on the property (well, Cabin 1 has about the same view). While it could use a redo, it was comfortable enough and everything worked. It had a great outside porch and a personal fire pit built into a boulder, right outside. It was only a few steps to the crystal clear water. No Wi-FI in the cabins (again, they're working on it), but good reception on the office porch that anyone is free to use. At the price we paid, it was an excellent value and I had no complaints. |For a great day trip, drive to Rockwood and take the ferry over to Mt. Kineo State Park. There's a golf course, excellent pebble beach, and a moderate hike to the top of the mountain with...
Read moreI found Cozy Cove Cabins online. My email inquiry and request was simple: 40th Anniversary Get-away in moose country, looking for simple “camp” on a lake for 2 nights. The response came quick ... we have a small, intimate camp on the lake that would be ideal! We booked it!!|Jackman, ME is 644 miles from home and we couldn’t wait to get there. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Tami and Steve, owners, and immediately felt we had made the right choice! The “camp” was perfect... not too big, a kitchen with everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a breeze off the lake ... PLUS a jacuzzi tub. We wanted to chill out, relax and see a moose! We were not disappointed! We saw 3... just where Steve said we should look! We are already looking forward to our return... for a more...
