Stayable Jacksonville West — Hotel in Jacksonville

Most viable, rude obnoxious people working there, we get there about 7pm to check on the 10th of May 10th 2024 everything was fine in the beginning but a girl named Jamie who was Spanish was great in the beginning then we told her her it says it was $61 a night why you charging $81 she said book online it would be cheaper but me and my sister not knowing what we are doing couldn’t do it so she offered to help we said ok thanks. So she took the in phone and tried to help but every time someone came in the door she would push us aside to take care of them, this happened several times until she finally said I can’t figure it out either, took us over 2 and a half hours to check in. The meantime we have been driving over 17 hours already so we are extremely tire we just want a bed. Ok we go to our room it was so hot AC did not work it was 73 degrees all night to which we kept jumping in the shower to cool off didn’t sleep at all . Next day comes they change our room. Ok get in the ac working great but then the nightmare hit. COCKROACHES EVERY WHERE so my sister and her friend go to Walmart to buy 2 cans of roach spray we spray it around beds when pulling out the bed there’s so much garbage pulling the couch out filth back there garbage we complain they said ok we will put you in another room ok we go to that room and it was fine the guy left us there to look at it when we went back to the front desk. He told us we have to leave the premises immediately we’re getting kicked out.. so me and my sister said why he said because that other woman you were with was complaining to the customers when they were trying to check in that there was cockroaches. It was filthy so they were turning away so we had to leave mind you we are three disabled people which my sister has cancer and going through chemo and radiation but they didn’t wanna hear and throw us out anyway so of course we packed and we had to look for another hotel. They called Security game we told him the problem did nothing we left. we went all the way to Daytona Beach to look for Hotel we finally found one they charged us 110 $50 deposit. We got the refund the next morning when we checked out because he accepted cash.. very beautiful, clean breakfast beautiful gorgeous Hotel no problems no pet they were extremely helpful. Then we tried to ask Stayable Jax west if we can get a full refund and they said no they said we can’t even get our security deposit back because we broke a roll. We smoked in the room because the woman at the front desk, said we will make a exception for us for all the trouble we went through so we were smoking in the room then another woman comes to make sure everything‘s OK and she said we couldn’t smoke in the room. It’s a $250 fine and we wouldn’t get our security deposit back so we said OK we won’t smoke so after that we didn’t smoke it went outside and we still lost our security deposit don’t bother trying to get any help from corporate because they didn’t know either. They said we’ll do it investigation and get back. I told him everything was on camera you they handed us those ashtrays so if it was no smoking, why were they ashtrays? we arrived home today went straight to my bank and told my banquet happened and I’m disputing it. They will give me my money back for those three nights we paid for only stayed one night so we’re getting a two night refund from our bank. but I will not let that end them shut down because after we left, they had other people check into our room that was filthy and full of cockroaches without even cleaning so double dipping I want their computer to see how long they’ve been doing this. When we checked in, we said we have money on our card and they told us we didn’t accept cash but the woman said she’ll make an exception and when we did my sister’s bank and she said oh no, I have enough money on it the Very irritated with us. I think she was gonna put the cash...

I arrived at the motel 30 minutes before schedule check-in nobody was there at the front desk. I waited and waited and waited and looked all around still no one. The maintenance man I'm assuming his name was Nathaniel he came out and he was very nice pleasant he went to get help and he came back and notified me that the manager Christie at the time stated she was making beds because someone had called in. I was booked for a double bed she told me that I had a single bed so thank God I had my email with me and she had to screenshot it and she sent it to someone. I asked due to my condition with my knee could I have a bottom floor room she said no I had to take a top floor. Which would not have been a problem but I had to climb stairs. but she made it right she changed everything around and she took gave me room 264 I was running late for my appointment so I never went into the room I went to do my appointment when I came back around 9ish there was a security with a gun on its side which made me a little nervous. I asked him where could I find the room cuz I was going around and around he informed me that he had no idea where the rooms were that in the front lobby there is a map. When I got to the lobby the security guard was already there no receptionist at all. He informed me that she was in the bathroom she came about 15 minutes later he had a very very nasty attitude.I explained to her that the lady had gave me a room supposedly on the bottom floor but I was on the top and everything that we talked about it was like you know it was either oh well to me but she did make the statement well that's not on us that's on Priceline it's not our fault. I complained about the rooms the security guard stood there as if he was trying to intimidate me. She informed me that if I got another room that I would have to pay a upgrade fee and I refuse to pay a upgrade fee for a room that I already paid for just because they had it in the system as a single bed. 20 minutes into the conversation I was informed that my room was 164 did they gave me the wrong room number on the card :( . There was construction everywhere I'm assuming they were renovating. The room was nice and clean the television did not work. I was told that if I leave before 9:00 cuz someone wouldn't be in until then and to leave the keys on the dresser. The staff needs to be trained on...

Do not stay here at all costs... The non smoking rooms wreak of cigarettes and people are parting in the parking lots and outside their rooms smoking weed as if it's perfectly legal. This hotel allows drug dealers to sit in their cars in the parking lot and deal from it. I stopped counting how many roaches are in this place. They are now under new management buts it's gotten worst since. Now they seem to think they are vegas and can change ridiculous fees like damage deposits on rooms already damaged. Non smoking rooms that people obviously smoked in and guess what? You don't get your deposit back even if you don't even smoke. They offered me a lease first saying they had 1 week, 1 month and 6 month leases. They send me the lease to sign and it's in room 305 they don't have a third floor. Once u started complaining all of a sudden the rate they sent me in an actual lease I was just about to sign changed from $1000 a month to $1554. The deposit went from $200 to $500 and the fact they have the nerve to even think to charge a pet fee in a roach infested, smoke filled, broken ice machines, broken laundry room, you have to buy your own remote control for the TV if you plan to use it. Each staff member you speak to all Give different answers. The incompetence in this "new management" staff is well below a 4th grade level and so is their education level. They take advantage of unknowing people who aren't smart enough to smell through their bate and switch tactics.

I can't say this enough, pay a little more elsewhere. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER.... Nothing here works but yet you are paying for them. The entire staff are rude and uncaring. They are having to old carpets pulled in the interior of the motel whoch is causing a severe safety hazard being they seem to be using 1 guy and he's the lowest bidder.
