If you're looking for a unique, private, and beautiful place to have your wedding (or just to vacation), look no further! I swear my husband and I explored every beach front resort/hotel on the East Coast. We wanted to find somewhere to host our wedding that felt intimate, had an all-inclusive wedding package, and would be a great family friendly vacation spot for our guests. The Beachview Club Hotel went above and beyond all of those expectations.

Let me begin with the hotel itself. This is a boutique hotel, with only 38 guest rooms. The atmosphere is tranquil and remote. We had 40 guests at our wedding, and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves for a week! The hotel is just steps from a gorgeous beach. It has a great pool with plenty of seating surrounding it. The two fire pits were perfect for unwinding with our family and friends at night. They have free coffee in the lobby every morning, but they also provide a Keurig and K-cups in the room for you. There is a restaurant/bar right next door called The Beach House Restaurant, which serves delicious food and drinks (including breakfast). The rooms are extremely clean, and housekeeping came daily to make our bed, give us fresh towels, etc. The pictures do not do this place justice.

The staff- I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Beachview. I have never experienced the level of hospitality that we were given during our stay here. Every single person working at the hotel was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They knew all of our wedding guests by name. We actually spent a lot of time just hanging out in the lobby with Will and Diane, because we enjoyed talking with them so much. They truly treated our guests like family. All of our wedding guests just raved about how kind the staff were and agreed that they had never had such great service at a hotel.

BRIDES/GROOMS- We had our wedding at the Beachview Club Hotel in June of 2023. We agreed (as did our guests) that we could not have chosen a more perfect place to tie the knot! The Beachview has multiple wedding packages to accommodate any wedding size (from elopements all the way up to large parties). We wanted to have a destination wedding, but we wanted somewhere that still felt private and did not have a lot of strangers in the background of our photos. We also wanted to be at the beach but didn't want to have the reception on the sand. This venue checked every box. We got married under the beautiful live oak trees with the ocean in the background. Our reception was on the lawn under the trees, and we ended the night by running right into the ocean with our guests! They also do have a ballroom that can be used as an indoor reception option. The wedding planner (Emily) and the general manager (Mel) took care of literally EVERYTHING for us. I was probably the calmest bride ever thanks to them, especially on the day of the wedding. All I had to do was get pretty and show up, and they handled the rest. If you're dreading the stress of planning a wedding, then leave it to Emily and Mel. I promise you'll be in good hands! I had so many questions, and they took the time to answer all 5,000 of them (and they were SO patient while doing so). They thought of every small detail. When we arrived, we had champagne, snacks, and a handwritten card waiting in our room for us. The night of our wedding, we returned to rose petals on the bed, a bottle of champagne on ice, and chocolate covered strawberries. The catered wedding food from The Beach House was so tasty. All of the vendors that they booked were phenomenal. The wedding day looked like a scene out of a movie!

I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but I highly suggest that you stay at the Beachview Club Hotel and experience the magic...

This property is stunning with mature trees and hedges. It has little "nooks" with seating and darling swings for guests to enjoy. The pool was nice and maintained well with loungers in the pool. The view is very nice and tranquil. It definitely has a boutique feel except for the room itself. There is some attention to detail that is missing as far as the cushions and fabric within those seating areas. We still enjoyed the swings and put pool towels down as the cushions were dirty. The staff were pleasant save for the young man on Monday (June 30) at checkout who was too busy looking at his phone reels to assist initially. His reels went from speaking of God to the F word. Some folks don't mind this, but others do so being cognizant of your surroundings while in employment is important. The room (403) was very underwhelming and definitely not worth the price tag or the accolades the website boasts. The bathrooms are tiny with barely any sink room to put toiletries. Our shower had mold on the shower curtain and was dirty and musty. I brought this to the attention of housekeeping who immediately swapped it out with another. We had flooring peeling up, a rusted lamp, dirt behind the headboard and more mold (it's the southern pink kind!) in the corner of the room. The beds were comfy, however one squeaked every time our son turned in his sleep. For reference, he is an adult. The AC was set at 61 and the fan blew the entire time. We did try to adjust it but without fail. We did not want to have to deal with maintenance so to be fair we did not bring this to managements attention. The TV did not work upon arrival which was rectified by our son who arrived before we did. The floor was somewhat dirty but I have very high standards for my own home and they weren't "bad enough" to bring this to management's attention. I wore slippers that I can toss in the washing machine for this reason alone. We did bring our dog and I wondered, based on talking to other guests, if our room was not up to par because of that. We were only there a few nights and it was tolerable, not ideal, but tolerable. It was nice to have sodas, juice, and water in the fridge upon arrival and we did appreciate that. I will say the Website is misleading. The rooms are nice in that you can't hear your neighbor at all. There are no "cocktails poolside" unless you walk across the parking lot to the restaurant and order them and bring them back. That was a huge disappointment. I am not a big drinker but for my birthday, which I celebrated there, I did want a cocktail poolside. If you've ever been to a hotel/resort that does this - it's very nice. I do feel, staying in many places all over (I can't locate my TripAdvisor account and had to start a new one), that this is not really boutique hotel as much as it is a Hampton without the free breakfast. The grounds are nice. The price tag isn't worth it. Granted, we talked to several couples who come back to this property every year but I think they just had a better room than we did. Can't help but wonder if it's because we had a dog. We did pay the pet fee and we did ensure we hosed him off after walking the beach to ensure our room stayed clean. Again, it's a lovely property with an OK room, nice staff, but is surely missing the mark. Additionally, when we booked the room we thought we were calling the hotel directly but somehow our call was routed to booking.com which we never use so the extra fee for that was a surprise after the fact. LOTS of fees associated with this stay. I strongly feel the price tag doesn't...

My fiancé and I booked a last minute trip for 4th of July and couldn’t be happier we chose to stay here. The rooms were spacious, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed including complementary water, sodas, and juice. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL, also very clean and well-kept, and the hotel is just steps from easy beach access. You can rent beach chairs and an umbrella for a very reasonable daily rate. The pool was great too, and they have not one but two fire pits, which were great for winding down on a summer night. Our room was right beside the pool but the hotel is so quiet that we enjoyed luxury of being steps away without the usual noise of having a first floor room by the pool.

We did not try the restaurant next to the hotel, so we can’t speak to it but there was no shortage of great restaurants nearby. There is also a beach bar at the Holiday Inn next door that’s just a quick walk if you want a snack or a drink while you enjoy the pristine beach at the Beachview Club- without the crowds of the bigger hotels!

Everything mentioned above was amazing, but what really sets this hotel apart is the customer service! We are frequent travelers and have never met staff that made us feel more welcome. Diane was so hospitable and even texted us when our room was ready so we had the option to check in hours early- which I can’t imagine being made possible by some of the bigger hotel chains in the area. Wil made checking in a breeze and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great first night at the hotel. Sarah helped make sure our room was impeccably clean and that we always had a robust supply of fresh linen. Deshaun also went above and beyond helping us with the beach chair rentals and checking on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. He even left us bottles of water by our chairs when we were out swimming without us even having to ask.

If you have any doubts about booking this place, book it while you can! The customer service alone already has us looking forward to our next trip, but there are so many things to love about this hidden gem of a hotel. Our only regret is that we couldn’t...

We chose the Beachview Club for our wedding because of the wonderful packages they offer. Little did we know these folks would become like family to us. Mel is the manager and was our first contact she was awesome and so easy to connect with. Next we started working with Emily, the event coordinator, I don't have the words to describe how awesome she is! She was so helpful even when I would message her with a million questions. Her energy is unmatched and she really wants the best for her clients. Once on the island her and Cora setup the most magical display in the ballroom. Our food for the rehearsal and wedding were so goooood! Special shout out to Chef Matt & Daniel, they had some big shoes to fill as this was a jamaican and puerto rican wedding so that jerk chicken had to be on point. The Day after we were gifted breakfast tickets and Cordelia had the biggest smile when we first walked in and so nice. Brittany was our server and she was super attentive and even took pics for us. We loved every minute of our trip and the resort is beautiful. We will be back often.

We visited a couple months ago but I forgot to post a review! We got married at Beachview Club Hotel 5 years ago and wanted to return for our anniversary. The hotel staff truly made our visit extra special and personalized. They even booked us in the room we stayed in our wedding night without us requesting it! In the room, there were several very special personal touches that made us feel so welcomed. Upon arrival and throughout our visit they checked on us (not too much, just enough) to ensure our visit was nothing less than exceptional and it truly was. Our stay was what we had hoped for and more. We love Jekyll Island and we love Beachview Club! The beauty was just the same, the room extremely clean, the staff was amazing, bed was comfortable and the grounds were well kept and the memories of our special day were overwhelming! We were even able to bring our little old dog who just recently passed away so that made the trip even more special. Thank you for a magical weekend! We can't wait to return!
