Quality Inn Jesup — Hotel in Jesup

I am very disappointed with my stay at this motel. Last time I was here everything fine and I would give it about a four star, but is has got the runs. I will say that the service and the workers were very nice and polite. The location was convenient because it is right near the entrance of Jesup, which makes it easier for people to get to it. Immediately when I entered the room I was not only hit with the smell of mildew, but there were also about three flies playing merry-go-round near the light. I opened the refrigerator only to realize that it in fact does not work. All four walls had some type of stain or some type of crack in it that just seem very untidy and unkept. The phone that was inside the room has some type of substance on it so I refused to touch it at all. When it was time to take a bath, I checked the towels and the cloths, and they all had some type of stain or an off-white color to them. The bathroom door was completely busted like somebody was trying to break it down and there was a random hole right in front of the toilet. One of the beds there was something sticking out from under it that seem to be a part of the bed and almost every time me and my family pass by it we would stumble upon it and it did not feel great. when it was time to open and even close the front door to the room, it was quite difficult. When closing the door you have to put a lot of extra force and we’re using using the key to get in. Sometimes it would not work on the first three tries even when the light turns green. The room overall was just very dirty and unkept. I flipped over one of the pillows to see a few stains near the bottom of it. The breakfast choices were very, very limited. From what I seen the pool was pretty clean, but I did not want to get any closer to it than I had to. Had to wait about an hour to get clean towels because they didn’t have any already clean. in all honesty I think the cleanest part of the room was probably the floor. if I had to be honest, I will not be coming back to this motel. Stay here often...almost once a month for years now. AN EXERCISE IN REALLY BAD MANAGEMENT! My recent stay finds simple things still not addressed among seversl....the ice machine still out of service...January, February and now March. It has been out of service mostly since last summer. It is comical to hear the employees explain the ice machine and one month they say they can't get a repair technician and then no....it is an electrical problem. REALLY....Repair people and or ice machines are like Doritos...they make them every day. Management anyone?||||During March stay I had to get channel lock pliers to adjust water temperature for shower. My March stay rate for Thursday night was $60.00 but $81.00 for Friday night. WOW! This place is not worth $81.00 a night. After remodeling a couple of years ago rooms are ok. They are using too much carpet fresh again.||The very small pillows are just stupid and very uncomfortable. Free breakfast is nice anywhere but really sucks here. Room keys don't work on the second day.||||No fault to the people who work here. Who ever owns or manages this place should stay here for a few nights and/or have a socoloigal exam...||And maybe even take some of the miniature pillows home and sleep on them.....or experience other things not mentioned. ||||I will probably stay again because this location is one mile from my birth place whick I am trying to remodel/restore. It is just amazing how Management/Owner is so lacks. Very sad. Over the years I have traveled 28 miles away and stay at the Marriott in Hinesville, Ga. when rates here are above the worth of this place. ||||So there....a good place very...

The room was disgusting! In the bathroom the wash rags appeared dingy, dirty & i was glad brought my own. The pillowcase on my bed was visibly dirty & looked like it had been slept in & not changed for clean linens. i had a double room & apparently the second bed had not been used?? My room was originally changed from upstairs to downstairs but i was moved to the second building way at the the back of the facility. Having been told at check in i was the only check in for the day (checking in at 3pm in the afternoon) the location could have more safely been at the front of the building. And for whatever reason, i was given an adjoining room? The door for the adjoining room, the locking mechanism was stuck frozen in the unlock position & would not turn to lock. The door handle was also stuck frozen in an open position & the door would just flop open & was only closed shut by a table propped in front of it. The door frame had chunks of wood missing from it. i felt VERY UNSAFE & had it not been so late when i noticed the door i would have demanded a different room. As it was, i barely slept restlessly & uneasy, not feeling safe at all!! In addition to these things, there was chunks of unknown substance stuck all on the door. This room was gross, unhygienic & i felt extremely unsafe! i would give a zero if possible, but will give a one because the clerk at check in was so nice.
