Where do I begin? This was quite possibly the worst hotel we've ever had. Let's deal with the pros first: Pro: -One staff person - Pepper - was so helpful and courteous to us! Cons: -The air conditioner is loud as all get-out. It sounds like a race car revving up. -We didn't have a soap dispenser. When we requested another one, we were told they were all out. -The garbage is laughably small. -Hotel staff will not give you fresh towels each night - you have to request this service. This is not stipulated anywhere, nor were we told about this. So when we got back from Glacier after a long day, we could not believe that our room had not been taken care of at all. -The bath tub has that faucet that you have to pull down in order to use it. But if your bath tub has to include written instructions (that are not entirely clear), then I think there's an issue. -This hotel was constantly out of things. I overheard a patron asking for a plastic knife, and they were told "We're all out". -We asked for a room upgrade, and we were told "We are overbooked", but the parking lot was half empty. -The location is rough. Practically every night, we heard cars whizzing by, but not routine cars. You can hardly hear normal traffic, but you would occasionally hear cars or motorcycles racing by. In summary, if you have ever seen an episode of Kitchen Nightmares or Hotel Hell, it felt like we were in that. Some hotel staff were unfriendly and unprofessional (one of them was dressed in complete nondescript gray t-shirt and sweatpants, walks up to me, and asks, "Can I help you?" Like, who are you...?) It's clear that the hotel is cutting as many corners as possible (i.e. only 1 yogurt per customer, you can't use the ice machine to fill containers, they're out of plastic knives), and to top it all off, the door to our room didn't even close properly. You had to slam it shut for it to secure. Whatever you do, do not mention this to staff because you will be told that you're wrong, just like in Gordon Ramsay's shows. Even after we left the hotel, we stopped for coffee, and the barista asked us, "Where did you stay?" We told them here, and even they said it was a big mistake. The best part about this hotel was Pepper, the very nice staff lady who always greeted us when we walked in and bid us a good day when we left. Pepper, hope you get yourself some back surgery after all the carrying you're doing! Long story short - don't stay here. The price looks good, but the value is terrible.

Overall: A sorry state of affairs. Was visiting Glacier National Park and stayed for 3-nights here and regretted the decision of booking at the place every moment of my stay. Good: Price - was the cheapest online booking available for my weekend of travel. Acceptable breakfast. Has essential amenities. Has potentials. Needs improvement: Everything else - mainly maintenance, safety and hygiene. The room had missing smoke alarm. The bathroom door was stuck halfway and wouldn't close. No housekeeping was done despite the manager accepting the housekeeping requests. Shower was out of provided body wash - seems no one checks. Hallway carpet was dirty and desperate need of shampoo/wet-cleaning. Front desk was apologetic. It seems they are aware of the issue and maybe they may even have plans to fix it. But in contrary to the name - America's best value - for close to $100 per night, it provided no value at all.

I am trying to find the words to describe our visit. We were there due to a medical emergency. We had never been here before and all we wanted was a hotel close to the hospital. A 2 day stay turned into 6. Stan, Rebecca and the rest of the staff became a family when we had none. Yes, the property is old but it’s super clean and always smells good💕 They made us feel at home during a very traumatic time in our lives. The welcoming smiles, the shared sodas....we met amazing people. Stay here. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Was looking to keep expenses down on this particular trip so decided to go budget. This hotel was the best price for the room so I decided to try it. |CON: I did not feel it was the cleanest place, including the rooms. The toilet was great if you are 4ft tall, the bed moves a lot, I secured it to the wall by putting a chair in front of it to stop it from rolling. Did not like the fact that every time I washed my hands I had to lean into the shower for soap, that was a pain. Ice bucket gross. My room kind of smelled like smoke also. I believe though that was coming from people standing outside by the air conditioner by my room and smoking. When they were not there I did not smell anything. |PRO: So after the initial shock per say, I normally do not stay in budget hotels. I actually really started to like the place. The price was right, and winding down with the end of summer it will be cheaper also. They did offer free breakfast. I felt that presentation could use some work, but hey, it is free. The coffee in the lobby was great, I loved it and I love my coffee. Best of all, I slept like a baby. I fond the bed to be very comfortable, that is important. The air conditioner worked great in the room. It is a decent location, pretty much right in the middle of any direction you want to go in town. I usually go all directions so was very convenient for me. |Most importantly was the staff, they were great!!!! If I had to take a guess local Montana folks. I will always support the locals vs everyone who has moved into the valley. Ugh! They made me feel like I was at home and I loved that. Also, I decided to stay a second night and they were pretty full but still worked it out to help accommodate me. When I go back and am looking to keep costs down, I would for sure stay at this...

This place is absolutely horrendous and should be demolished. Checked in and left within 15 minutes. Front desk staff acted like they couldn't care less. They were very unprofessional, serving customers whilst holding an infant only wearing a diaper. Website advertises a family room that sleeps 5 adults, upon cheaking into the room was met with only 2 beds. Upon checking with management they advised that this room does not exist and must be a mistake on their website. They offered to provide a rollaway bed for the fifth guest that would need to be placed within the bathroom area. Room was absolutely filthy with an overwhelming stench, dirty sticky floors, hairs on bedding, stained linen, mold in bathroom, toilet seat half attached to hinges, dirty marks on bench and basin, dirty mirror, toilet door that jammed when closed, stained curtains that were as thin as a bedsheet and blocked out zero light, TV cable and socket hanging out of wall, phone cord dangerously piled up on the floor and several large dust bunnies throughout room. To top this all off, we were "greeted" by a heavily drug intoxicated (possibly homeless) individual who took us into the main lobby who then proceeded to rant verbally whilst having conversations with himself. The staff advised that he was "harmless" and that we would "learn to live with him". Upon leaving, this individual tried to enter our vehicle and then proceeded to pour coffee down our door handles. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HELL HOLE! Would advise sleeping in your...
