I recently contacted Mountain Tech (online thru email) due to its EXTRAORDINARY ALL highest reviews...and the reviews were all very accurate. I was really worried about Windows 10 ending since my laptop would not support Windows 11 as it is; and Nick was amazing at calming my worries: I was so happy that he even replied, but then very happy with his attitude and willingness to help me online; and he replied rather quickly as well. Furthermore, I got the feeling that he is an empathetic and caring person - qualities or traits that are very important to me when I am deciding where to go for service and repairs but yet very hard to find anymore these days among people and businesses alike. When I brought the computer to Nick, he immediately tried vigorously to diagnose the problem, and to see if there was a possible fix for it. He then discovered that a component on the computer was burnt out. He was able to diagnose this problem within 20 minutes.
Nick then advised that I return the computer right away, which I did, and we were refunded fully. Nick also was very up front and very fair on the price for his services. He does not over charge, and does not try to add in any unnecessary repairs on you. It was worth the cost of the repair. Nick was super fast, knowledgeable--and helped extend the life of my laptop and reduced my frustration from having to go back and insert all the missing letters in my typing. He was super friendly and generous; he gifted me outdated charging cords that were taking up space in his office and that were definitely better than the after market ones I've been purchasing online.
