The good: Solid water pressure. Dog friendly, we didn’t have one but nice to see them in the hallway. AC kept up with near record heat. Solid pillows. Daily room service, which seems rare lately. Nice attendant at the breakfast area. It’s mostly a good blue collar hotel that employees traveling to the area stay at. Lots of work trucks. The other stuff : The Hotel shouldn’t be titled Glacier Park West, it essentially in an industrial area further away than other hotels. There’s metal buildings, chain link fences, and a scrapyard close to the property. The other brand name Kalispell Hotels are concentrated around the retail area with Costco and this one is adjacent to the scrap yard. It’s a blue collar hotel for work trips The hotel also advertised a full kitchen, but there were no dishes, no dishwasher, and a small mini fridge. When we asked the front desk they said something about dishes carrying rona and they were removed in 2020, but if we gave a list they could deliver some? It was confusing and we didn’t really bother with it further. Included breakfast was middle of the road in quality.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and full of information regarding the area and the national park. They're always available if you need anything. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well accommodated. Everything is well maintained and well taken care of. The indoor pool is large and heated. The fitness center is small but it's equipped well. The laundry has newer machines and at the time of this review costs between $1 and &1.50 depending on the machine. The breakfast room is very comfortable but depending on the breakfast hour number of guests it can get crowded. The food is pretty standard. The property seems very safe. There is plenty of parking and it is well lit. The building is secure and requires a key card to enter. The staff is always visible. There are closed circuit cameras in the common areas.

Not fancy but the fact it was clean, comfortable, AND they are pet friendly meant a lot. Super nice staff. Togo breakfast to keep everyone safe. They even have a machine to take your temperature that I thought was hand sanitizer haha. They had that too. Covid you know? The pool and jacuzzi were indoors, really big and lots of windows felt like it was outdoors. There a bbq area and a separate dog area toward the back. I think Best Western will be the place I stay whenever I travel. They’re consistently good and always improving.

While on vacation I stayed here. The front desk staff were super friendly and even gave advice on where to eat. I did stay at the hotel with my dogs as well and they do have a pet area. When we got into the room it did have a slight odor but nothing that made me need to switch rooms. The beds were comfortable. We did have some issues with the TV service there and I did talk to the front desk and it appears that the cable company was having some issue. It did resolve by the next day. I do feel that this hotel was pretty expensive at a little over $300 per night. Out of all my traveling this was the most expensive hotel and there was nothing extraordinary about it to make it worth the $300 per night. They do serve breakfast but it's just the same as all the other hotel chains that serve breakfast unfortunately. They always serve the basic eggs and sausage. Along with the waffle maker, bagels and cereal. It got really old over the four days we stayed there. It would be nice if they would switch up some of the breakfast items. They did serve scrambled eggs and on one day omelets which the omelets were gross. It would be nice to see something else served like potatoes or bacon. They do have signs up in the breakfast room to leave tips which I do not care for because part of the expense of this hotel does include breakfast so I do understand tipping is optional but I don't think you should be asking for tips. Breakfast is complimentary but also a reason people book at these hotels. The only issue I did have was one morning with the breakfast staff. The milk was not coming out of the container and I unscrewed the lid to see what was going on and it was covered with old dried milk. Someone next to me mentioned that obviously it hadn't been cleaned and the worker got offended and said she cleans it every single day and yanked the container away to clean it. Clearly it wasn't cleaned. She did not bring the milk container back and people were upset because they wanted milk for their cereal including myself. I ended up just having to toss my cereal because she never brought it back out. One of the days the sausage wasn't cooked all the way. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would...

Exceptional Stay at Best Western Plus in Kalispell, Montana

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus in Kalispell, Montana, and my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we called to inquire about our reservation to the day we checked out, the staff's dedication to providing excellent service was evident.

First and foremost, Sarah at the front desk set the tone for our stay with her exceptional assistance over the phone. She was not only helpful but also displayed a genuine commitment to ensuring our visit would be comfortable and stress-free. Throughout our stay, Sarah continued to be a valuable resource and a warm presence at the front desk.

Amy in housekeeping deserves special recognition for her pleasant and courteous demeanor. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and attended to the details that truly make a difference. It's clear that Amy takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the well-being of the guests.

Toni in maintenance was another standout team member. His wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area was invaluable, and his insights greatly enhanced our experience. Toni's commitment to ensuring everything was in perfect order did not go unnoticed, and his friendly demeanor made interactions a pleasure.

I also want to acknowledge the outstanding service provided by Stephanie, Megan, and Niki. Each of them, whether in housekeeping or at the front desk, demonstrated a high level of courtesy and helpfulness. Their positive attitudes contributed significantly to the overall positive atmosphere of the hotel.

In conclusion, my stay at Best Western Plus in Kalispell was exceptional, thanks to the dedicated and friendly staff. The seamless coordination between the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams created a welcoming environment that exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay in...

So we were flying from Florida to kalispell and had connecting flights unfortunately our connecting flight had issues so last minute they canceled our flight, I booked my room stay through capital one travel along with canceled anytime. Once we found out the flight was canceled I called the hotel and notified them unfortunately the very RUDE lady said we cant cancel, I told her we booked through capital one she didn't want to hear what I said and said no, so I hung up on her and called Capital one they quickly canceled and changed my reservations no problem. Next day we finally got a flight once we you to the hotel I was met with the same old Rude lady as she tried to have an attitude because I was able to cancel my reservations , and with her attitude she tried to say my card was declined. 1 my card never declines I always pay in full. 2 because I booked through Capital one there's no credit card on file so I'm not sure what she was trying to get at. But she was Rude as he'll especially after dealing with flight delays, and flight canceled. Needless to say I won't be booking again here as that lady need a attitude adjustment and looking at the reviews I aint the only one shes Rude to. Someone might need to look for a new job if she dont like talking to people.

So after Best Western responded clearly w the reviews they dont care there front desk lady needs a attitude adjustment or to find another employment. Like I said I went ahead and cancelled through capital one since I booked my reservations with them, my problem is she didn't wanna hear that I cant cancel and she went and tried to charge the card on file only when booking through capital one they use a online card info themselves, so basically she tried to charge what card was on file even after calling and giving her my info. I will never book with you guys again and will let everyone know until you have the front desk...
