My events , experience ,and opinion:
Typed in Google search and maps to verify "where to purchase 3d printer filament near Kalispell, MT" Staples right on there (skipping junk ads) nice, open right now. Zip down to get some, any, really. After waiting patiently, for two employees to finish important conversation (I was about to interrupt, though I rarely do); I ask, "Point me in direction of your filament section, please" , looking at me like I just spoke Irish , other running off. I said you know for 3d refills. Filament? , Yes, and started radioing around, I looked around, others employees shrugging. Repeating the word filament? Finally someone arrived, saying, that they don't carry ANY 3d printer stuff.
Quite enjoyable. Everyone repeating the word filament. Was like the matrix, rebooting or something, glitching.
Attached is Pic of process, I skipped all ads and sponsors.
Staples SEO, your doing a poor job. I should not have to go to website then find local store to find out that they also have no clue. And assume you sell on your website. I didn't even bother...Also employees told me; same thing with fake services offered!
My Rating is for YOU Staples. Employees get * dealing with me being miffed, but their rating will not prop up you business model. SEO is leading people to your stores for BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Not a way to bring in or returning customers, heck I knew I could get that office supplies online. Even cheaper than you... Your store is practice for their great attitude, for Chi ck-fil-A. Just saying ...
Corporate: Local retailers are shutting dwn in record numbers. Only ones that pivot to extreme face to face customer service, train your employee, even if it is online or whatever.
This thousand word ($) consulting advice will be my last money spent their, unless you do what needs to be done.. Good luck...
Read moreWhile visiting the store today, in Kalispell, on Idaho St., we stood waiting for a cashier for ten minutes. We were never greeted, nor acknowledged, telling us someone would be with us shortly. A line started to build behind us, where a customer went searching for a cashier. There was a store clerk, unloading merchandise, standing in the computer service counter. He clearly looked our way many times, as two employees did as well, working in the print customer area. A customer behind us was able to get us assistance from the employee working in the computer counter area. He appeared annoyed and stated that they only had 3 employees working. Keep in mind, he was assisting no one the whole time we waited in line. Also the entrance was absolutely filthy. Terrible customer service. ...
Read moreI am sorry to say the service at this Staples printshop has gone consistantly downhill for the past 2-3 years. Every June for the past 6 years, I have a printing job to get done in a timely manner. Last year it was incorrectly done, this year I had to take it elsewhere to get it finished in time. Employee said, "I am the only one here and only till 3pm, and the only one here all weekend". I realize everyone seems to be short staffed, but they need to pay more, have higher expectations for employees, have the manager step in to help or ???? I will try the other places in town...
