Honestly if I could get this a 0 star review I would, hands down the worst dinning I've ever had. I walk in the door and the host walked us to our table, the server then yeld out loud at the host in public to sit us in a specific location. That was the first part of my jaw dropping waste hour. I ordered a 17 dollar meat loaf, I couldn't tell who was our server because 3 different people got our drink order and starters. It took what felt like 2 hours but was really only 40 minutes but still it's was 9pm and there was 3 tables. Meatloaf arrives and looks like someone took a can of cat food shaped it into a square and microwaved it. It was awful, I am a server myself and afraid to sound rude whatsoever I asked if I could send it back. They server was unbelievable rude. Automatically brought the ticket while my fiancé was eating and charged me for the sides that came with it. I asked how come and she said that she won't remove it I didn't eat a bite of the mash patatoes. I was never offered a menu or a remake nothing, I wanted to give it a second chance and try something else but they wanted us gone plain and simple. We left, my stomachs empty my girlfriend also a server in shock and never greated on the way out. I will never go to nickel Charlie's not recommend anyone. My biggest regret, not getting the servers name. Let's see how she...
Read moreI understand that Nickel Charlie's is under New Management The owners of The Montana Club are one and the same. I quit going to The Montana Club years ago because of the lousy food and now Nickel Charlie's is off my list. We spent $50 and the only thing editable, after sending it back to the kitchen, were 4 thin strips of cod from the"dinner". If you like flavorless, greasy, soggy food try their onion rings. The only thing good about this restaurant was our waitress The restaurant was dirty, the floors were dirty, I had to wash my utensils, table and booth with the hot water from the tea carafe. I was truly apprehensive about eating the food after I had sent it back the first time because it looked so greasy and overcooked like the oil hadn't been changed for quite awhile. The second time around the little cod strips looked a bit better but the onion rings look like they had been microwaved. So unappetizing. It looks like Evergreen no longer has any decent restaurants so people are left to the fast food chains there or venturing into...
Read moreCome. here. We landed at Nickel Charlies for breakfast based on a recommendation from a local. I am writing this after our 3rd breakfast visit in a row. We really enjoyed it! Nice staff, fun ol’ country atmosphere with old pedal cars hanging from the ceiling. First morning we ordered the breakfast special of a prime rib scramble and felt like we were getting a lot of good food for the money. Went into Glacier NP and weren’t hungry till dinner time! Second time my husband had sirloin steak and eggs for under $10. The scratch made biscuits were fluffy hearty additions to every meal. I enjoyed a tasty basic eggs, bacon, hash browns breakfast with large dinner plate pancakes one morning and a steak scramble the next. Every breakfast choice was excellent! The only thing I’d hope for is a bit less bitter coffee but that’s nothing a little cream can’t fix. Overall we loved it! Go here for breakfast and enjoy, leaving full...
