Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Kingsport — Hotel in Kingsport

Read fully: This was an unexpected stop when relocating across states & couldn't drive any longer. We had a Uhaul & were able to park out back. The lady at front desk was SO great & helpful, gave great info..sry i didn't get her name! She told my guy our stuff was safe there, the best places to grab dinner & the hospitality was👌also its right next to Burger K, FYI. The room was clean, I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything. Shower was a big walk in. Great ammendities & if we had more time I woulda brought my lil one to the pool. Very quiet night there... ⭐️The only thing worrisome was that as we were literally leaving, I noticed a capsule filled w. Powder (hopefully it was a vitamin to TBH these days..who knows) it looked sketchy. It was right on the side of bed on floor & I'm SOO thankful my bby didn't pick it up/put it in her mouth!! I couldn't believe she didn't find it that night ⭐️So jus beware as a parent of lil ones @ ANY place u stay at, jus do a sweep thru the whole flooring when u get in a room!! Excellent last min stay tho..even if you're not staying long, paying a tad more $ for a peace of...

The hotel was your typical Fairfield. That goes for their breakfast as well. Nothing spectacular but you can eat a hot meal in the morning. There is a Burger King within a 5 min walk of you prefer. The room was clean. The shower was hit or miss. The water would be hot, then suddenly turn cold, then get hot again. Also, when I cut the shower on water still came out of the tub part, not giving me full use of the shower head.

I found it strange that when they came in to clean the room, they only took care of towels and trash. They never made up the bed. This was a first for me. Initially, I thought they weren’t coming into the room, but then noticed the towels… go figure.

The gym was probably the best part of the hotel. Everything you need to get in a decent workout and everything worked.

I thought the room was pricey for the area. They were charging about $215 per night. When I say there is nothing in Kingsport, I mean nothing. You can eat and drink in this little town and that’s about it.

First & Last stay here: When I booked the room I was charged full price for each night even though it was a 2 week extended stay, not happy but whatever. 3 days into my stay I have to talk to someone at the front desk about service for my room only to find out the hotel is under staffed and these normal, everyday services like housekeeping have to be requested or it NEVER GETS DONE. But I pay full price still...? Got it! Every morning I go to the lobby for breakfast with my fingers crossed because even after a week I still haven't found anything that I'm able to to eat besides apples and bananas. All the food is super cheap and generic, has zero flavor and is hard to stomach. The food area was infested with fruit flys and who knows what else. It's gross, not trying to be funny. Highly...
