Travel Inn Kingsport — Hotel in Kingsport

PLEASE READ! ** **COPS INVOVLED 2 21 YEAR OLD GIRLS ** 11:30p.m. Okay so we are out of state. Came here because of the fact a family member in the hospital. We just got done driving 7 hours down here and picked somewhere to lay our heads for the night. NOPE! Looks nice on outside and online. We checked in, got our bags from the car. Then as we walking to the room a guy was just being pretty weird at this time of night. "My friend felt so freaked out she dialed 9-1-1 in the process just to be safe" As I was trying to get the key to unlock the room it wasnt working, and so I just opened it without it being locked! So what's the point in the key? Well on the other side of the lock was broken, "I will post pictures". So she rushed me into the room as another guy was walking past our room. We got inside and locked the door which may not even hold anyways. As I looked in the room the furniture was EXTREMELY torn up like they were out of a dumpster. So I check the mattress for bed bugs, which THANKFULLY I didnt see no sign but I've never seen them in person "so how could I judge?" Things were taped up Dressers were beat up Covered up holes in the wall Stains all over the mattress Sticky stuff in the carpet Lock was broken And that's just some not all

Besides the room which was horrible. We literally was thinking the worst possible scenario that this was a drug infested sex trafficking hotel.

I'm calling my family members to let them of the situation because I have never felt so scared in my life.

So it was 2 options either A) Risk the chances of being kidnapped and sold for sex by putting a dresser to the door and sleep for a little bit or B) Play it safe and call for the police to escort us out.

Well we choose B. And when the police arrived they asked us the problem and we explained we did not feel safe what so ever. He told us "you picked the worst motel ever" and "it's very bad with drugs" Which most cities have that one motel drugs go to. So anyways they are walking us to the window to get my check out and see if I can get money back. The lady "which wasnt there when we checked in "was being kind of rude with the police behind me and the cop actually stepped in and talked to her and I got my money back. So thank you KINGSPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT for being very helpful in making sure we were safe and sound

They also told us "we were lucky our cars was not stolen"

Also the 2 other motels are bad too* We came to the comfort inn which the police officer recommended being safe!

MOST CREEPIEST, SKETCHY, DISGUSTING, DRUG INGESTED, PROBABLY SEX TRAFFICKING...

We stay here couple of days when the power went out the first time and it was on the weekend we paid less than $100 a night which was a great price for a weekend because hotels are always cheaper during the week not the weekend and this was the only place that had rooms the rooms were not clean there was roaches and stink bugs everywhere! We actually found two cut up straws under the bed with white residue! we did not take anything in except the clothes we were wearing we ended up leaving and of course no refund which was ridiculous. Unfortunately we had to go back a few days later this room look to be a lot cleaner but the beds were not clean at all we ended up having to go get cleaner to clean just to sleep there we paid for it for a couple of nights again but ended up leaving once again because the doors did not lock and it was disgusting so we went to another hotel that was a lot cleaner not to mention friendlier this was during the week the manager tried to charge us $350 a night for a one bed when the last time we stayed in a two bed bigger bigger room he charges whatever he wants to who ever he wants I have pictures and other complaints which I will be taking further up the ladder and pursuing it legally since they did not refund both times! I've already talked to a few people that have stayed there who want to start a petition because this is not legal what he does! He should be ashamed!!!! Also as a social media influencer I could release a lot more than this and have thousands of people literally get the word out but we will see how this is handled it would help a lot if I got fully refunded, an apology, if he cleans the hotel and runs it should be ran!

Travel inn the answer to your response is in my post all I asked for was an apology, the hotel be clean and run like it should and a full refund. I will post the pictures I have within the next couple of days. Thank you for your response you seem to truly want to make things right so we shall see.

Travel inn, I have not heard back from you and I have not gotten a refund therefore I will be posting pics on all my social media and they're not very pretty I also plan to reach out to the newspapers my friend in publishing advised me that this would be a great story and a lot of people would like to pick it up because of the negligence at the hotel in the process you are trying to charge and the way that you harass and treat people. This place is horrible.. I have given this hotel so many chances to make things right after all that we've spent here and vs the trouble we've had is insane.. So the owner kenny was a decent person until u ask for compensation for ur stay.. Okay so room shows a shows nice place. Which is absolutely a room done just for show and not what you're actually staying in.. We meaning my fiance and I both plus other family have stayed here for months this year. We've spent 50 approx for a month not to mention we've paid 65 prior to the month we stayed.. And then we stayed for weeks that My old man would work.. Okay so we check in recently room was bad but expected for the rate.. We get to room that should include all that the booking website shows.. That was a joke.. We pull sheets down there's burn holes every where holes in the wall.. Bathroom door kicked in and off frame.. Shower curtain was so disgusting sink and toilet clogged and. Never did anyone offer to fix this while cleaning? We went to room tho with no towels but a hand towel and wash cloth then we can't even get a maid to clean out room. They knock to see when ur checking outnsbd that's it.. We stayed for 2 wks this time of not longer I'd say 3 wks close to smonth and they cleaned maybe 1.. We come back one night out beds were stripped all dirty towels were gone.. No toilet paper no tissue no soap or coffee nothing.. It was nearly insane.. I couldn't believe what they expected.. So we call the don't desk and they say they have nothing.. I couldn't believe it. No refrigerator.. Nothing.. Lost over 45 in food because of this. So we companies to bifhr thinking their compensate a night a discount something.. No I know what was offered our deposit was offered to pay for the room and then our rate was all of a sudden 65.00 I about died.. I nownjave 15 big bites com my back.. Remind you with kidney tubes in my back. So now I've taken pics and read reviews about bed bugs so imcgoing to we for a diagnosis and then I'll be filing a law suit because my tubes have our around them which we re complete healed up and now their infected from bugs.. I've made it known that well be filing a law suit and Tom of nothing is done. I'll make sure to pursue this issue also still no toilet paper or pillow cases. Were using the 2 towels for our showers to put over our pillows. Johnny the guy who does the mateience is a nice guy he did try to help but said report this to Kenny i laughed and said we did.
