Here is the review that hotels dot com hid and instead gave them a top rating on my behalf after I gave them literally the lowest. Know this if you use hotels dot com, they lie and sell out the hotel owners - no doubt for a price if course:||||I had stayed here previously with no problems. This time was different. I checked in and left right away to do some errands. When I came back, the toilet paper on the roll had been used up (wasn't like that when I left), the AC had been turned off (AC was on when I left), and there was a strong smell of body odor in my bathroom. This made me uncomfortable and feeling like someone was accessing my space when I was away. I then wished I had a door jam to protect myself inside this room when I would be sleeping and someone associated with the motel could just enter at any moment. ||On the positive side, I did get through the night unscathed. The bed was comfortable but hotel staff not trustworthy IMO. ||I checked out early and made the mistake of leaving behind my phone charger. I realized this and followed up with a phone call before the official check-out time. I then went back to the motel and they told me there had been no charger left in the room. I know this was NOT true. Retraced my steps fully and the thing is gone. Last place I saw it was plugged in the wall at this very motel. I am convinced motel staff took my adaptive charger. ||It wasn't a ton of money - but very inconvenient to suddenly be out of a phone charger when travelling and doing a bunch of projects in town. ||I have been a return customer previously but don't think I will be anymore. I regret that I left a cash tip in advance for the dishonest...
Read moreI've been debating on how to rate this place. The price is nice, it really is a budget motel and it shows and smells. The cost was great, the value of it was nice. The room itself smelt awful and had stains everywhere. The shower curtain was molding, the sheets had a burn spot in it, it didn't feel clean. I didn't sleep in the bed the night I was here, nor did I walk on the carpet without shoes at anypoint. The walls were scuffed and marked up as well, wasn't a big detail, but a detail none the less. The tv remote had a texture it shouldn't have and looked gross. Impression that it left all together wasn't great. Especially waking up in the middle of the night, forgetting that the room smelt awful and taking in a deep breath. I had a regret that night. Speaking of, the beds were super uncomfortable. after all of this is said though, it is a budget motel and was cheap. It's not like I paid a lot to be here. If the carpet and the smell of the room were better, honestly maybe a 3 or 4 star rating I would have given. I didn't get coffee or the cereal they offered. They offered 2 cereal options, coffee, and some pastry I never saw because...
Read moreThis hotel surpassed all my expectations. We had been to Crater Lake National Park and coming back from there (if you have been there, you will know that the place is beautiful but not so good in terms of amenities), When we reached here, the motel was really something we needed. The manager was very sweet and accommodating. We reached to the motel at 11PM to check in and checkin was hassle free. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds which were actually queen size and very comfortable. There was unlimited free wifi with no speed restriction. An LED TV with HBO and ESPN at no added costs (that never happens). And the best part is that the room had an attached kitchen which was of the size of a small room with microwave, fridge, coffee machine and all. Rooms and everything were clean and the motel is next to a Chevron and Pilot Gas station. Subway, burger king etc are right next to motel. So amenities and location wise it's good. Also, it's very close to Upper Klamath Falls Lake so in no time you can reach a beautiful lake. Plus the price we paid for the room was so less. Overall this motel deserved a 5 star...
