We were booking a last minute trip to Utah and of course most Rv resorts were full, came across Gateway Luxury Rv Resort. Called spoke with Gina (super helpful and friendly) she quickly help me select a site and told me about the park. We also had 2 other rv’s coming up and Gina saved 2 more spots next to us for them. When we arrived we were met by Travis with a big smile and welcome. He got us checked in, gave us the rundown of the resort and facilities. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the places to visit while here. Travis even handed us a few pillow mints to enjoy. Later my wife commented to him how much she enjoyed the mint. Once we pulled into our site Alan came by to check on us and delivered a picnic table to us and to ensure we had everything we needed. As far as the resort itself Everything is brand new and sparkling clean from the resort property to the walkways, restrooms and laundry facilities. Our dog loved the clean grass filled dog park. They have an amazing pool area and spa. They have pickleball courts and corn hole too. Throughout our stay daily we would see Travis and Alan always with a big smile, hello and wondering what if anything we needed.
Ok so from here we went to Bryce and Moab, then our plans changed a bit and once again I called Gina for a spot back at Gateway, no problem she said and so we are back here again on our return trip home. Our friends decided a day later to join us because they too enjoyed it so much. So tonight we will catch up on laundry enjoy the pool and spa and great evening skies before we head out for home!
Oh I almost forgot but when we checked back in Travis had bought my wife a bag of the mints that he gave us some of on day one because he remembered my wife’s comment about liking them!! What a pleasure to stay where you feel so welcomed. I would highly recommend you give them a call next time you...
Read moreIf you are looking for a luxury RV resort near Zion National Park, Gateway Luxury RV Resort in LaVerkin, Utah is the place for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week stay at this beautiful RV resort which opened in the spring of 2024. It is in the perfect location for day trips to Zions National Park, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Brakes National Monument & Brian Head Ski Resort, etc. Only about 20 minutes from the entrance to Zions, you are able to avoid the huge crowds in Springdale. Many parks claim to be luxury resorts, but this place truly lives up to that designation. It has concrete streets, 81 level and roomy concrete pad sites (both back-in and pull-through to accommodate even the largest RVs) with beautiful desert landscaping and awesome mountain views. There is state-of-the-art wi-fi on every street light pole throughout the park and it worked flawlessly for us. The large resort-style pool has a beautiful waterfall feature, plenty of lounge furniture (including umbrellas), several shade pergolas and a firepit. There is also a large hot tub, as well as shower/restroom facilities within the pool area. The laundry facilities and all on-site restrooms and showers were exceptionally nice and kept very clean. In addition, there are top-notch pickleball courts, a beautiful grassy area for cornhole games and a nice fenced-in dog park. They also have 16 beautiful casitas to accommodate families not traveling in RVs. To top it all off, Travis and his management team provide the very best customer service and go above and beyond in making sure their guests are well-accommodated and enjoying their stay. We can’t wait to come back to this RV park and without a doubt would give it a 5+...
Read moreThis is a fantastic new resort which opened in 2024. We just finished a week there with our RV while visiting Zion NP. The location near Zion, but not on the very busy Springdale strip, was perfect for us. The pads are concrete, level and there’s a nice artificial turf patio with a composite picnic table. No splinters in our butts! The landscaping is beautiful and well cared for. The bathrooms are clean, air conditioned and nicely lit. The laundry is large and clean, with multiple machines which are, of course, brand new. The dryers are screaming hot. The pool and hot tub are a glorious way to end the day relaxing after a long day of hiking. In spite of the park being located near several hotels, it was very quiet at night. The dog exercise area is ample size, with REAL grass, which is well maintained. An added bonus is that the dog park is a great place to watch the sunset. The views from all around the resort are quite nice. The Wi-Fi worked extremely well, which was a nice change from most places we’ve been. The staff went over the top to ensure our needs were met. Each and every staff member was friendly, helpful and truly invested in providing great service. We received several packages while we were there, and they cheerfully checked every day for an overdue package until it arrived. Travis, the GM, was a great resource answering numerous questions about dining and local attractions. He also helped us get into our tow vehicle when we were locked out of it. We are looking forward to returning to see how this new resort evolves. Suggestions for consideration: provide towels for use at the pool, provide chairs at the laundry or in a shady spot outside...
