Horrendous Experience – Avoid at All Costs
Red Fort Cuisine of India has given me the worst restaurant experience of my life. If you’re looking to waste your time, be treated with zero respect, and feel like your presence means nothing, then this is the place for you.
We, along with many others, waited over 1.5 to 2 hours for our food. And the worst part? Not once did anyone come out to update us or manage the situation. There was not a single manager present to address the chaos. The staff were only interested in taking more orders — piling them on when they clearly couldn’t handle the existing ones. This isn’t a restaurant; it’s a cash grab disguised as a dining place.
When we tried to express our frustration, we were told “if you don’t have patience then you should stay home.” Excuse me? That’s your idea of hospitality? If your staff think speaking to customers like this is acceptable, then you have no business being in the service industry.
It was painfully obvious that their focus is only on making money, not delivering service. Dishonesty around wait times, lack of basic courtesy, and completely unmanaged service — Red Fort should be ashamed of calling itself a restaurant. They don’t care about your time, your plans, or your experience.
To top it all off, they charged $20 per plate and gave barely half a box of food. This wasn’t just our experience — over 50 people were waiting outside for takeout, facing the exact same issues. The portions were small, the prices high, and the service completely broken. It’s shameful, truly shameful. They clearly have no concern for customer satisfaction — just an obsession with taking in more orders and making quick money. Their service is worse than the worst.
And somehow, they have a 4.8-star rating? Honestly, this makes me question the credibility of those reviews. Either people are being misled or something shady is going on — because what we experienced doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
This place needs to shut down. Or better yet, people should stop going there altogether. Spend your valuable time with friends and family somewhere that actually appreciates customers — not with this team of dishonest and incompetent staff.
Absolutely not worth a single minute or dollar....

Let me preface this by saying I rarely write reviews, but the sheer incompetence and disregard for customers at this establishment warranted a public warning. From the moment we stepped in, it was a disaster. We were told there would be a30 min wait for a table( which turned into an hour) – fine, things get busy. But after that excruciatingly long wait, we were finally seated at a completely bare table. No water, no cutlery, not even a napkin. It was as if they’d forgotten we existed. After what felt like an eternity (and two polite reminders to the staff), someone finally deigned to take our order. And then came the kicker: we were informed, with a dismissive shrug, that this was our "final order" as the kitchen was closing soon. Seriously? After making us wait an entire hour just to sit down, they rush us to order? The food itself was, at best, aggressively average. Bland, lukewarm, and utterly forgettable. But the cherry on top of this culinary catastrophe? It arrived at our barren table, you guessed it, with still no cutlery! We had to flag down another uninterested staff member to practically beg for forks and spoons. And what did they provide us with? Serving spoons! Yes, serving spoons to eat our individual meals. This wasn't just bad service; it was an insult. The long wait, the unprepared table, the rushed order due to their own tardiness, and the complete lack of basic table settings made for a truly awful dining experience. Save your time and money and go anywhere else. This place clearly doesn't value its customers. One star is far...
Read moreWe always love going to Red Fort in St. George, so we were super excited when this location opened. I'll admit I lowered my expectations before going because new location, new staff, can we really expect everything to be as good? I was met with dinner that was better than the last few times we'd been to the other location. We went just before 9pm and the restaurant was pretty quiet which I loved, the staff were ultra attentive and our food came to the table less than 10 minutes after ordering. Our waiters checked on us throughout the meal, and cleaned up the finished tables quickly and efficiently. We ordered the coconut tofu mild and chicken aloo very hot (my man is a spice freak I would'nt recommend that spice level for the majority of people), two garlic naan, and vegetable samosas to start. Everything was excellent quality and taste! We were so satisfied with this visit, I will continue to recommend this restaurant to...
