Quality Inn Lake Elsinore I-15 — Hotel in Lake Elsinore

I booked room 217 for 2 nights. The first night we found the toilet was leaking so we had to use the towels to clean up the water, so we had no towels to use after we showered. We had to shower at my moms, which we had so many people staying there we got rooms to avoid this. There were ants all over the end table between the beds. So I notified the office before we left for the day. In the evening I went to check if the leak and ants were taken care of and the lady at the front desk said we do not have ants. I told her we told the man in the office about these problems before we left in the morning and she knew nothing about it. So I went to the room to check and there was only a couple of ants in the drawer, but in the bathroom the wet dirty towels I had used to soak the water from the leaking toilet were left in the tub. We got no clean towels for the next day. We arrived back to sleep in our room that night and the toilet was still leaking. Also we went to use the vending machines were all empty the 2 nights we stayed so the second night we made sure to stop at the circle k before we got back to our room. The people in the office seemed not to concern about all the problems we were having. In fact due to family staying laonger then expected at my moms, I needed to book a room another night. So I went to the office to get a room and the gentleman working the front desk charged us for one night and said "you will be in room 217" WHAT oh no could we have another room because we just had that room for 2 nights and there was a leaking toilet and ants all over the nightstand. He said then there should have been a block or something on that room so no one used it. Well we sure had to use it for two nights. I have stayed in Choice Motels before and have never had this type of experience. I just think it should be brought to someone's attention. I am not sure how these things are handled but after staying in this motel with these problems not for 1 but 2 nights and not raising a fuse in the office with other guest there, and telling the clerk about these problems he in no way apologized, but instead try to check us in to that room again, I felt it would have been real nice if we had got a room that third night at no charge. Honestly I'm probably being too nice, with the overall stars. The best thing I can say about the location is I have family close by. 1st night staying I go to make tea from home, the coffee pot had a old used coffee pod in it. I went downstairs to get a new 1 and ask for a extra blanket. The older lady with a Bob ruddddde looked me in the eyes with a straight face an told me they don't use new ones they clean them out... (bull they are disposable) she also said there was 0 extra blankets an I would have to wait for housekeeping. I repeated everything she said to me an after hearing it a 3rd time she fumbled around ooooo here goes 1(new tray for coffee machine) and I'll look but the blanket won't be the same. I waited an she returned with a blanket. The door was locked an I had been talking to her through the window up until then. WAIT after the pool I realize I was giving 1 roll of tissue an 1 set of towels for a 2 queen room. Id LIKE to mention the younger guy not the bald 1....when I asked for pool towels he was kind enough to bring me 2.... two days in a row... Thanks NOW. I go to the pool and call to front desk to bring towels... the older lady with the Bob says I need to come in to get towel. No problem I get out the pool walk in office wait in line for her to tell me they do NOT have pool towels.... JESUSSSSSS THEy HAVE a towel box at the pool but NO POOL TOWELS. Beds were fine. TV was okay. water doesn't get hot quick. No roaches lol or bed bugs is a plus. NO LATE CHECK OUT HERE. OMG I FORGOT About the bottles of alcohol I keep finding by my car. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The non-smoking room smelled strong like cigarettes and we requested it not smell like cigarettes. there is no do not disturb signs so the maids just go in and out of your room as they please whether you are there or not and rifle through your property as I had a bag of property in a nightstand which upon return had noticed it had been moved to the center of floor between the beds. Our room had some sort of murder hatch in the ceiling that looked like it was out of a horror movie, we were seriously wondering if somebody was going to drop through it in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. Our toilet was clogged and overflowed even if you just blew your nose and through a small piece of toilet paper in it. then we asked for a plunger and had to use some of the towels to clean up the plunger mess and because our towels were a little dirty, and they even said that it smelled like marijuana which the whole city smells like marijuana they kept our hundred dollar deposit. Large white man who works at the front desk cursed at us for being upset about them stealing $100 and then blocked numbers from calling to report him. When we booked online and called about it we asked for a room on the bottom floor and we were assured we would have a bottom floor and when we got there we got the room right above the office on the top floor. Went for a walk down the street and we were attacked by cockroaches thousands of them running out from everywhere around the building.
