Del Taco — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

I've eaten at a lot of Del Tacos since I worked for the company in the 1970s and tonight ranks among the worst. Had a little difficulty getting the app to cooperate, but it went through eventually. When I got to the drive-thru, I was told my order hadn't been received yet, which concerned me as I thought I might have chosen the wrong unit. The young lady working drive handed me my drink as soon as I got to the window, indicating they did get it. Given it's Taco Thursday, the system might just be running slow. The tostada was the first thing I opened and this is what I saw (I took the bite, not one of the employees). I paid $.60 extra for sour cream and this is what I got for my money. Pitiful! When I got the soft tacos out of the bag, they were stone cold which tells me they were made some time before they made it inside my bag. Microwaved them tho I'm not fond of warm, mushy lettuce. To top it all off, not one napkin was in either bag. I'm at a local hotel and napkins around here are few and far between. I knew I should have gone to...

I usually come to this Del Taco after 8pm.. once a month on average. The food is always fresh. And always consistently delicious. The employees are always friendly and work their butts off. We place the order online thru the Del Taco App. It really helps with discounts and time using the app to order. When we pull up to the drive thru speaker and tell them who the order is for... They say they're gonna start making it then... Which is awesome. Your food is hot and hasn't been sitting out. I have been inside before to get the food or order inside when the drive thru is to long and it's very clean inside. I would recommend this Del Taco for the quality of food you get for the price.. also get more for your money. Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays are good for getting a family size amount of food for a good price.. especially with the way the prices have skyrocketed over the past...

Updated review! I am seriously getting frustrated with the mobile app not working half of the time, but more importantly, the menu is constantly being changed. I am autistic and I am very peculiar about what I eat, there are only a few things that I always get from del taco and over the last 6 months or so you got rid of the epic crispy chicken burrito which doesn't make since, because you still have the crispy chicken for the tacos and all of the other ingredients. Now, I can't even add on Chipotle sauce to my orders on the mobile app. People like stability and continuity, but corporate keeps making it worse and worse.
