Southern Inn — Hotel in Lake Village

The room was clean. Stocked well with toilet paper, bath towels, and wash clothes. The bed was huge! The bed linens smelled pleasantly fresh. Had issues with the t.v., which was resolved with switching out the t.v. remote with the front desk. Couldn't get the t.v. to switch input to play our PlayStation, even after switching out remotes. Could never get connected to the motel WI-Fi. No ice machine? But, overall it was a nice stay. BED BUGS!!! Came here as the hotel we wanted to stay at was full. They ONLY accept cash. Paid and went into our room within 5 minutes we found bed bugs! Took a video to the guy in the office and said we were leaving and wanted our money back and he tried to argue and say they don’t have bed bugs even with the proof in front...

Cons: Older joint, dirty bed spreads and carpet, door barely locked w/o a deadbolt, lousy mattress, bathroom fixtures cracked................ Pros: beats sleeping in the car, hot water.
