Village Diner — Restaurant in Lake Village

Horrible place I have ever ate at. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Took 2 hours to get the lunch special for the day. We were only customers they had in the while restaurant. Waitress came to table once to get order once to bring drink and once to bring food. I ordered white meat chicken got 1 little thigh, very hard. This was at 12:30 watched one couple come in and sit and no one came so they left. NEVER will go back. Only wish I could have rated it a ZERO but one was as low as it would let. Called owner over her excuses were she had only one Waitress and that people just don't want to work and the dumplings ordered had to be made they were out. Never in my 74 years have I ever had such a terrible restaurant experience. And we paid $14.95 each. My advice DO NOT go unless you have 2 hours to wait for your food and you like it so hard. No wonder no one else was in there. They won't be in business for long with service...

Just left. Walked in. We were not acknowled Did not know if should sit or go to back bar to order. Asked a customer sitting at a table, he said sit down they will take your order. We waited someone brought order to table not too far from us but far enough don't know what it was. Waited 5 minutes just to be noticed. NO menu, or sit anywhere. Thought atmosphere different. We waited over 20 minutes for anyone to take our order. There was no one in the restaurant that we could see. We called out towards the back thinking someone was back there but it took a very persistent woman coming in to finally get someone's attention.
