Read moreWe stayed here 3 days 2 nights in one of their 2 room suites, which was decent in size. Our issue is with the cleanliness of the unit and the staff failing to clean it after talking with the about it. Upon arrival we removed our sandals and started walking to the room to unpack. We noticed we were walking on what felt like a bunch of dirt, so we checked our feet and saw how gross and dirty they were. I checked our toddler who had been playing on the floor for a couple minutes and saw her hands, feet and knees covered in grey filth and dust. I also noticed a pair of used contact lenses on the night stand. That grossed me out. I took my daughter down to the front desk with me so the gal at the counter could see how dirty the floors were. She seemed equally grossed out by the uncleanliness of the floors and contact lenses as well but never had the unit cleaned, even while we were out for the evening. Day 2: We go down to the front desk on our way out for the day and mention the cleaning issue to them. She said she would have the unit cleaned for us while we were out. We come back and nothing changed. Trash was removed, but floors were not cleaned, contact lenses were still there and they put a paper sash over the toilet to claim it was cleaned but it hadn’t been. That’s fine, but don’t lie to me about cleaning the bathroom if you didn’t. Day 3: At check out I tell them again about nothing being cleaned and all we get is an “I’m so sorry”. 3 days and they couldn’t bother to properly clean the unit. Shameful. Also, the bedroom doors have no inside door handles. This is dangerous. I wasn’t able to open my bedroom door this morning and had to pull on the little deadbolt with my finger tips to get the door to finally open. This is a HUGE...
Read moreWARNING* HORRIBLE PLACE. INVADES YOUR PRIVACY. I was put in a room next door to a family with 4 young kids and a dog. It was like trying to sleep next to a kindergarten play ground. TV blaring, small kids yelling. At midnight I called down to ask if they could get them to quite down. 2 more calls and 3 trips to the desk, they didn't change the noise. I asked to be moved to another room and was told it would cost me an upgrade fee. What??? She called a manager to see if she could do it with no charge and he/she wouldn't approve it. I was told the owner was going to call the room and tell them to quite down or they would have to leave (I just wanted quite). Nothing changed and I finally fell asleep around 2 am. In the morning I went down and said I think I need to check out, and was told the family was checking out, so I said OK, I'll stay, just need to be able to sleep. Thought it was settled. Than around 1pm same day, I get a call from my wife in NC. They left her a message and said I wanted to check out (don't know why they called my wife) I called them and said I didn't plan on checking out and desk person said OK, when you come back, pick up your bag at the desk. THEY WENT IN MY ROOM, THAT I PAID FOR AND TOOK ALL MY PERSONAL STUFF OUT AND PACKED IT. I WAS LIVID, HOW DARE THEM. IF I WAS LEAVING I WOULD HAVE PACKED MY OWN BAG. I WAS PAID THROUGH TWO MORE DAYS. Do not stay here, they don't give a crap about their customers experience. Stay anywhere but here. The manager they called several times doest care if someone has a good stay. The worst experience I've ever had and I travel a lot. The owners response is bull, they mistreated me and violated my privacy and my rights. Stay away from here...
