Full description. We booked this hotel from the reviews we read, some people say scachy area some said it was great, so we decided to check it out our self's. We stayed at this place for few days as it was conveniently located in-between the attractions (plantation farms, canjun swamp tour , and new Orleans city) . The rooms very big (2 queen beds) bathrooms clean and the rooms overall in 9/10 condition. Bed sheets clean , smart tv full of entertainment channels for the kids and bathrooms specious, clean and stocked up with towels, soap, body wash etc. The hotel breakfast was very good and has your typical items Waffles, bagels, donuts, fruits, scramble eggs etc. The hotel grounds all around well lit and I was not afraid to leave stuff in the car overnight. The area around the hotel within 1000 feet very clean, quiet and nothing scachy going on. I did take a tour to a local domino;s at night on my first day and did see some questionable people hanging around dominos however they never bothered me nor did I see them during the day when i went to shop at local Walmart located few block down from dominos. The staff at hotel was polite and offered help when asked. I truly have enjoyed our stay here. We have the room booked for the week and each day the staff has been super friendly. In the lobby they make eye contact and speak each time you see them. To me that is huge. Evett is super attentive and friendly and keeps everything stocked up front. She keeps a positive attitude and smile on her face. Maria (whom helps with the breakfast) was also extremely nice and went above and beyond assisting with whatever you may need down to the silverware. Both of the ladies have went above and beyond showing they truly care for their quest here. But everyone of the staff has been nice friendly and helpful. Anytime day or night. I have also truly enjoyed the 24 hr availability of hot coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The 24 hours snack store they keep well stocked. The breakfast buffet served daily hot and fresh and delicious. Just wish they would serve bacon one day and maybe biscuits and gravy. (Hint) Thank you staff here for being so friendly and helpful. Lastly the gym has been a added bonus being 24 hours so we can get out work out in at our own convenience.
