DoubleTree by Hilton Laredo — Hotel in Laredo

We booked an overnight stay for one night ,We had Family coming into town that wanted to do some shopping ,The Hotel quoted a price of $109 and when we got there quoted us a price of $79. There was no restaurant there was no pool because there was no water in the pool we were told there was a breakfast in the morning and when we woke up the next morning Not only was there no breakfast there was a frozen biscuit in the refrigerator with frozen chicken patty in the middle a bowl of apples and two coffee pictures that were cold and when I went to go and tell the guy at the front desk where was the so-called breakfast I was told and I quote no one had gone shopping and this is all they had and they weren't going to have anything more it was considered a grab and go you warmed up whatever the biscuit sandwich was in the microwave as well as the coffee for this place being run down and charging 89 or $79 a room and not have anything is a sad sad State of affairs and when you go to ask for management or the front counter neither one of them want to give you the time of day or even come down from the rooms to come and talk to a customer who's has the complaint he pretty much told the girl at the front desk to handle it this is a very bad Hotel bad management bad clientele would not waste my time ever again I give this zero Stars this place should...

This is a local hotel not intended to meet the expectations of those who want a safe and clean respite for the night. I’m not used to leaving negative reviews, but even my food deliver driver here advised that I leave immediately. The filth is overwhelming.||The hotel reeks of cigarettes and carpets and toilet seats are unabashedly stained. The one elevator that works has missing buttons. Trash covered hallway floors would be easy to remedy, but every carpet surface is covered with stains.||I booked through a third party and spent the first several hours of my stay desperately trying to get a refund so I could say elsewhere. Because no one answered the phone as the hotel- front desk staff were especially inattentive.||Although my reservation was fully prepaid, they collected a deposit on my arrival that other guests assured me would not be returned. We were assigned this hotel through Hotwire. For this particular vacation, we used Hotwire 4 times. Three were great this one was awful. I was a little unsure immediately after booking. Hotwire usually assigned name brand hotels. Immediately when walking in the front door, we knew this was not the place. It was terribly dated, dull and boring. The hotel had a very unfresh odour. Benefit of the doubt we registered and went up to our room. It was not much better. The carpet was old and dirty. The sheets were old and when pulled back, showed a stain. I immediately attempted to get online to look at other hotel options in Laredo, and the wifi would not even work. We immediately left the hotel and found much better...
