Taquitos Ravi Restaurant — Restaurant in Laredo

Tasteless food and low customer service. Waste of money. I met up unexpectedly with old acquaintances but kept the same table. Waitress didn't clear/clean off the table, I ordered tacos al pastor and waitress didn't ask if I wanted flour or mais tortillas, my companion ordered a torta de ternera which we shared. Zero flavor and that was with added salt and salsa. Once we got up to pay the lady manning the register was on the phone taking an order. She wasn't even kind enough to say "one moment" or "I'll be with you soon." Like I said low/subpar customer service. But this was just my personal dining experience on a Sunday between 3 and 4pm when there wasn't a lot...

Google says this is one of "top rated" restaurants in town, so I decided to patronize as I was in the mood for good, hole-in-the-wall Tex Mex.

Upon entering, we noticed the establishment was full of local families (replete with screaming children) so we took a seat under the television playing las noticias at a comfortable level.

Service was prompt, friendly and patient.

The menu was simple and effective.

The prices vs portions were excellent.

I really enjoyed eating here...

It IS rundown per the hole-in-the-wall aesthetic.

Always go there for their food. Always taste great Tortas, flautas, and lonches de ternera 😋. We placed an order for pick up, and everything was there. It was checked twice before handing over the food. Staff were very helpful and friendly and looked that the customers were happy. Being a Laredo, always try to stop by on our visit back to Laredo. They don't have found like this in the RGV. Good job on owner and staff for doing...
