Be aware that if you bring a doggie friend with you to stay in one of the Pioneer dog-friendly cabins that you MUST present proof of vaccination when you check in. This policy is stated clearly in the 'Dog Policy' page on their web site, but it is not stated on the one-page reservation that I had printed out to bring with me to prove I had reserved a cabin for the weekend (there are other helpful reminders printed on that 1 page sheet). I did mention to the person who checked me in that this would be extremely helpful to guests as a reminder, since I had made my reservation 10 months in advance and forgot about this policy. Fortunately they accepted the rabies tag attached to my dog's collar as proof of vaccination, but if they hadn't, I would have had to make a 3 hour round-trip drive back to my house to dig up the proof of vaccination papers. Read moreSuch a cool experience! We got there early to go on a hike with the dogs (dog friendly cabins btw!!) and our room wasn’t ready until 4:30, even though they have 4pm guaranteed check in. Since we checked in late, they took a dog fee off our bill which we appreciated their customer service and understanding. Overall the cabins were inexpensive and in a great location since we were there to hike as much as we could. They weren’t as clean as I’d like them to be, especially the bathroom, it seemed like the shower hadn’t been cleaned, and there was visible mildew on the bathroom walls. Did you know they have EV charging? Such a game changer for us and we already scheduled...
Read moreI gotta be honest. The cabin was nasty. Dusty, lots of spider webs and possibly bedbug infested. My leg got small red dots that are itchy all of sudden. There were both human and dog hair all over the sheets. Chunk of dog hair under the bed. Possibly some fleas there too. It was smelly and I had to lower the AC to subside the smell. And $170 for a night. That’s absolutely rip off. There was envelope the housekeeper asked for a tip. I tipped but you better clean those cabins better! Management needs to improve their cabins!! If you want to charge $170 per night for not even 150sq ft cabin!!! Plus $40 per dog better improve quality and cleanliness of the cabins!...
