I am sorry I am not able to give a better review, but reviews are how things hopefully get better. I arrived around 10:30am on 01/17/18 for my nephews boot camp graduation. We knew we weren't going to spend all our time in our room, but upon arrival in mid January did not expect the heat to be shut off in our room. It was 6 degrees outside so not much warmer in the room. After an hour, It was still quite cold in the room. I called the front desk and explained my issue. He said he was sending a maintenance person to come fix the problem. We waited an hour and a half, so I could also explain the inch gap all around the door where we could see light from the outside (where the cold was coming in from). We had to leave for a townhall meeting on the base and came back around 7:30pm and still a little too cold in the room to sleep comfortably, so I went to the front desk and she moved me to another room. Go to move all my belongings to my car to my new room, only to find the new room had not been cleaned since the previous occupants had left. GROSS! Stike 2! Guess what! Another room change. After all the moving around it is almost 9 before we finally get settled in. I understand for the price the lack of amenities, such as shampoo etc and breakfast, but really? Not even a hair dryer? I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations and they have had a simple hairdryer. It was a good thing that because of the time of year, I carried a good blanket in my car, should anything happen in my travel. In my wildest dreams never thought I would need it to add to the thin blanket on my bed because only 1 thin blanket was provided on my bed. I should have paid the extra $30. and would have had more amenities and would not have had to go out of my way to make my stay more comfortable.
On another note, let me ask. If I request a no smoking room, and I am assured I am getting a non smoking room, WHY IS THERE A CLEAN ASH TRAY...
Read moreSo stopped on our move to Michigan from Texas and used my Debit card and the registration lady stated since it is a debit card we have to run it as a debit card. Then I was informed that due to theft by previous guest there was a $50 deposit that upon check out it will be returned to my card immediately. So I paid the $112.79 for one night. Our room had only the electronic lock on the door no inside security lock and one bath towel and one wash cloth both stained black. The tub had a gritty almost salt like substance in it. I asked the front desk to come fix our TV and the young lady said well you have movies on your cell if I can't get our guy to fix it, I said we would like our TV please. The gentleman came and ripped out the cable and cut off the end of the cable and twisted the wires together and it worked somewhat. I asked him what the stuff in the tub was and he said oh it's to kill bugs don't shower it will burn your feet. We make it through the night and I go to check out and because my card doesn't have a CVC on the back I can't get my deposit of $50 back but the gentleman was very polite and said I will have my manager call you when she gets in and I am sure she can fix ut for you sir. I wait 28hrs and no call so I call and get a hold of her rudely she states it is not our fault your a moron and not know your CVC. I said you don't have to be rude Mam and she said you don't know your CVC I get to go out and the drinks are on you so never call her again or stay here again or I do have your credit card information I can go shopping. I hung up and of course today fraudulent charges on the card I used someone ordered movies online with my card and I hard to cancel my card order a new one and file for fraud charges against my card. Bank said we can probably get it back but 10-15 business days. What a nightmare and I hope corporate or the motel owner reads this that manager...
Read moreRequested early check in however was told I could of checked in early but they sold those rooms earlier that day. And had to wait till 3 to check in. At 3:30 I went back to the hotel to check in which I was already irritated cuz I hadn't slept in over 24hrs do to travel. Then waited till 3:30.. to a sign on the door stating that they wouldn't have rooms until 4 pm even with already made reservations that were paid for because they were sold out.. and I needed to wait because the guy that works the front had to leave at 3:05 to get his kid from school and the manager wasn't in yet and didn't know when she was gonna be in. I was gonna leave but who knows what next issue was gonna be.. so I did sit and wait until some time after 4 for the manager to get in. Then had to wait for her to deal with others now in line and she's vaping behind the counter. The room had dust and hair all over it. Burn holes in the comforter and shower curtain. The TV didn't work floor looked and felt like it hadn't been swept in forever and we seen roaches and the shower is broken and not working properly walls were paper thin neighbors kept us up, broken liquor bottles outside had to watch more carefully so my dog wouldn't get hurt, didn't get freash towels nor had enough to start for 3 people..wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Had a microwave a desk 2 beds and a broken shower and toilet and a broken tv.. maybe consider it to someone or self for 15$ a night.. nothing more until changes are made there.. oh and appears all staff lives on sight, and they will take your food if the delivery guy supposedly knocks at the...
