This place deserves 0 star!! our experience at this hotel has been absolutely terrible. I am never the one to complain. I usually just stay quiet, but this hotel is BEYOND nasty… I can’t believe the maids even felt right putting so called “clean” sheets on these beds… this is so wrong in so many ways.. for nearly 600$ we should be getting clean sheets and beds to sleep on.. it’s been one thing after another and we’ve only been here for two days…. This mattress’s you guys have in the room need to be thrown out and replaced! The first rooms bed looks like someone took a bite out of the mattress.. but that’s not even the concern.. there is blood and urine stains ALLLLLL over the bed. The sheets are absolutely disgusting and also have questionable stains. The pillows had blood stains. And I know they are blood stains cause they turn light brown after they dry.. this is extremely uncalled for and wrong that they felt it was OK to put us in these types of room… we drove 17 hours from Ohio to visit family and it’s to last minute to find another hotel and we spent nearly 600 for one of the most NASTY places I’ve EVER seen in my life. This has to be a health violation, so after we tell them about the first room, they give us a handicap room tell us we can stay there, but we had to be out by 9 AM because you had a handicap person checking in and I understand that but we couldn’t check until 3 PM to our new room This is a huge inconvenience, considering we had to leave the hotel go find something to do and take all our luggage out of the room… then we get a call and our THIRD room is ready .. we get back let cause we are helping set up a wedding and we check the bed and of course the bed has urine stains ALLLLL over the bed … we were so tired we decided to leave go to Walmart and buy 4 pillows and blankets so we can have something clean to sleep on .. I didn’t think asking for a fourth room was going to do anything considering everything happening… the air conditioning unit in the third room does not work it was beyond hot and uncomfortable. Fast forward I wake up to take a shower to get ready for the wedding. We have to go to today. I’m in the shower put shampoo and conditioner in my hair not even in the shower for 10 minutes. Start to shave my legs and the water just turns off and just is dripping … I’m fighting for the one drip of water to get the conditioner out of my hair, I decided to get out and just leave so i can pay for a shower at a truck stop so I can get the rest of the conditioner out of my hair because I have to be at a wedding in a few hours.. and on top of that, my husband didn’t even get to shower yet … we had no way of brushing our teeth because the sink water wouldn’t come out. We couldn’t even use the bathroom because the toilet would not flush because there was no water… the chairs you have in the living room are beyond filthy… it blows my mind that they walk past that every day and think that that is acceptable. The arms of the chair are completely brown their stains all over the chairs the cabinets look like they haven’t been wiped down at all…. I believe we deserve a full refund… I would love for you to look at the videos and pictures that I have been taking during the two days of our stay. I hope you can make this right for us because this is extremely unacceptable and not healthy for anybody to be staying in these conditions, and then on top of that one of your ceiling tiles in the hallway fell down, and when we let the front desk know instead of cleaning it up and making sure the rest of it doesn’t fall on somebody’s head they put a wet sign on the ground and left it there for the entire night and didn’t start cleaning up until this morning. . Ive asked to speak to the manager 3 times now and she says she’ll call me back for some sort of refund and they still have yet to call me after 3 days! No apologies or offer to fix how DISGUSTING THIS PLACE IS! they said they weren’t gonna put anyone in the room with blood and urine and I walk by that room and they have someone on that NASTY NASTY NASTY bed!

THE PROS: Walked through the front door and was greeted right away by Renee. She was great! Very friendly and held such pleasant conversation with me. I saw her the next morning when I checked out and she remembered me. That's impressive! The room was very spacious. Full fridge, cooktop and sink in the kitchenette. The sitting room had a sofa, ottoman and TV. The bedroom had two queens, a desk and a TV. The bathroom was roomy. The AC blew COLD and there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Beds were comfy, but the pillows... Ahhhh. They were the stars of my good night's sleep! Breakfast was delicious. There were so many choices (both hot and cold). Eggs, bacon, potatoes, tortillas, salsas, cereals, oats, grits, bread options, yogurt, waffles... and all the sides that you could possibly want (jams, jellies, honey, syrups, whipped cream and more!). I'm sure I'm forgetting something! THE NOT-SO PROS (not quite to the "CON" level) We all noticed an odd odor in our room that can best be described as the smell of a nursing home. While everything appeared clean, things were just a little run down (scratched up furniture, lamps with no bulbs and rust stains on the tub wall where the old grab bars had been removed). THE CONS The elevator to go up to our room was down a long hallway across from the housekeeping closet/HQ. We were run over by housekeeping staff as we were walking down the hallway to breakfast. Literally pushed their way through us to get to where they were going. No "excuse me." No waiting for us to walk by. As we reached the housekeeping door, we came face-to-face with a staff person's boisterous, "F@#$ YEAH!" In summary, this hotel is not the worst I've ever stayed in, but it definitely falls shy of what I expect for Hilton standards.

I arrived at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Lawton around 1 PM to reserve a room for 26 days at the government rate (as I am in the military). Initially, I was informed that rooms were available. However, when I requested to see the room before making a reservation—since I would be staying for about a month and needed a full kitchen—I was told that there was no longer any availability. I was informed that the room would only be available until May 5 and that no rooms were clean at that moment. They advised me to return at 3 PM, at which time they would be able to assist me. Following their advice, I called back at 3 PM to confirm my reservation and was initially told it was possible to do it until May 5 and for later they can see if there are any cancellations. However, when I inquired about viewing the room before finalizing the reservation, the staff member spoke with someone and returned to inform me that there was no availability for tonight. Interestingly, when I checked online, I found that I could still reserve the room. I directly asked her why it was available online but not for me. She explained that they couldn’t show me the room because doing so would require housekeeping to clean it again, and they were leaving at 4 PM. She suggested that I could book it online at the regular price, emphasizing that it would likely be sold by the time I returned. After all the uncertainty and complications, it’s clear that I would not want to stay with your hotel, which is why I ultimately did not book a room. I did not expect such treatment from a high-end hotel, and I am disappointed, to say the least. As you can see in the pictures below, which were taken at 3:30 PM, I am providing evidence to support my claims.

UPDATE

Outdated hotel in need of upgrades and maintenance. They booked a room with maintenance issues. Then, after having to move rooms after unpacking everything for a 2 week stay, I mistakingly left a couple of items in the cabinet of the broken room. It is like pulling teeth to get my personal items back. Since they booked the same broken room to new guests. Additionally, the breakfast bar is manned by personnel who prefer to chit chat with their new friends instead of tending to the food and coffee. Both of which are essential to a breakfast bar. I do understand that cannabis is legal here and I have zero issue with anyone who uses it, but doing so at work is simply unprofessional. Handling that issue may help with your maintenance and housekeeping shortcomings. [UPDATE: This seemed to be a isolated/infrequent occurance. I happened to run into the housekeeping manager later in my stay and she is definitely good at her job. On top of most issues and well organized. There will always be "those" employees that do not taken their job seriously. They likely don't work there any longer]

I have spoken with 2 different front desk personnel. Neither have been able to resolve any issue so far. Likely due to inefficient communication between shifts / departments. I am still here for a while, so I may adjust the rating based on any improvements. Though I am not very optimistic about that happening. [UPDATE: My opinion of the over all experience did improve somewhat.] I did hear that the hotel is about to undergo an upgrade. Hopefully, that includes 40% of the staff also. UPDATE: Probably more like 10% needs replacing. And whoever is responding to the reviews on this site are obviously just blowing smoke and making zero effort to actually make any real improvements in regards to any aspect. [UPDATE: Still beleive this to be true] Otherwise, there would not continuously be the same issues over and over. Hilton needs to remove is name from this property until issues are resolved.

Update: In the room I moved to, there was old coffee in the room coffee maker and dirty dishes in the dishwasher; the light switch on the lamp was broken; there was virtually no water pressure for hot water; the "adjustable" shower head would not rotate to a different setting. So I was stuck with the uncomfortable "massage" spray. The view from the window was obscured by some nasty type of build up resembling shower scum. And no, I never did get my personal items back. I can only assume that they either threw them away or someone in house keeping took them home. Fitness room is really a storage room for broken Fitness equipment. One working treadmill and a Peleton bike that the staff does not known the passcode to. But on the positive side, almost everyone that worked there was professional and all were extremely polite and patient. So in conclusion, the major issue with this hotel is ownership/management.
