Marina's Edge Vacation Rentals — Hotel in Leavenworth

We stayed in the Lavender suite. Sadly, it hardly resembles the pictures shown to advertise it. The furniture is old, scratched up and basically too big for the rooms. We found it difficult to move around in and we left bruised from bumping into furniture. The dining table is stained and dirty looking. The stove is old. We had trouble turning off burners once they were on. The master bedroom does have a view of the lake, but the other 2 bedroom windows view the back, rocks, parked vehicles and trash bins. The sliding glass door in the livingroom was extremely difficult to open and close. Overall no effort was put into making the suite inviting or enjoyable. Showed up to this condo complex with high expectations. The rooms were gorgeous upon entrance but within further inspection there was blood found on the pillow cases, and fitted sheet.

Received a rude and unprofessional noise complaint by Kelly at 7:30pm when quiet time is at 10pm.

While leaving there were no instructions on what to do with bed sheets. We stripped our bed and found raisins under the mattress protector, GROSS! Were these sheets ever changed, or even washed?!

This is a very pretty place, very pretty views but the housekeeping and managing style did not tickle my fancy. Very unprofessional when coming to speak to us about “being too loud” and very disgusting bloody unclean sheets.

These little places are pretty great. Kitchens have almost everything you need for basic cooking and serving. Rooms are sizable. Things are kept clean. The rules are relaxed, but enough to keep most racous partiers quiet after 10pm. Pool is nice and there is a hot tub. Main complaint is the Wifi is pretty poor. They could have set it up a lot better. Another small quibble is that our shower doesn't drain too well even before we used it the first time. Only little small complaints. Overall, very nice and spacious place. We rented out the entire building for our whole family vacation. Really nice. Two minute walk to the water or to a restaurant...
