Very Disappointed!! I was excited to try out this restaurant with my husband apparently it has new owners and they are focusing on making it more of a restaurant than a bar. We walked in it looks beautiful. They give you the option for indoor or outdoor seating. We sat outside and there were about 5 other tables outside and one server.
It took a solid 10 minutes before we were even approached by our server. She walked passed us several times before she took our drink and food order. It took another solid 10 minutes to make our one drink. We ordered the bistro burger and BBQ burger with sweet tots. (More like over salted tots). So already waited 20 min just for our drink and we were waiting so long for our food about 40 minutes. When we got our burgers we were disappointed. The bistro burger was tasty but I wish it were on a actual hamburger bun. My bbq burger had very overcooked bacon, don’t get me wrong I like my bacon a lil crunchy but dam that bacon was black :/ I literally had to remove it out of my burger because it was burnt and didn’t make my burger tasty.
Over all I’m very disappointed about the price of it all. It’s way overpriced and definitely catered to the tourists. Not your local joint anymore. Not to mention that the server wasn’t very attentive at all she literally took our order once and then waited until we we’re almost done with our food to check in with us. She didn’t even give us our bill, the bartender came out and checked us out . Horrible service considering she would constantly check on all other 5 parties. Will never be...
Read moreI would really like to write a nice review for this place because I know that local restauranteurs have been struggling to make it work. Three of us went in for dinner tonight and the food and service were very marginal. The menu was extremely limited as was the drink menu. It was not listed but I asked if they had margaritas and was told yes indeed they did. I asked if mine could be frozen and they said they did not make them that way which was disappointing.
I chose the pulled pork sandwich and was very specific that I wanted to make sure I had enough coleslaw to use as a good condiment in the sandwich. When I got the sandwich the pork had not been shredded, it was in big chunks several of which had large pieces of fat on them. I had to go through the meat by hand and pull out the fat. It was served with about 1 tablespoon of coleslaw and there was no barbecue sauce or any other condiment that came with it. I did ask the wait staff for some more coleslaw which they did bring so I will give them that. One of the other people in our party purchased a hamburger and he said it was mediocre. he had asked for a medium to well done burger patty but it came quite rare.
All in all I would not come back to this restaurant but there was very little open on a Sunday night so we were stuck with it. Hopefully as the restaurants recover from Covid and the lack of staff it...
Read moreTried to call to make a reservation and got a voice mail instructing us to make a reservation on line. Went on line and were instructed to call. We tried calling multiple times throughout the week and could not reach the business. Waited to go until Sunday evening at 6:30. We waited more than 10 minutes crowded in the waiting area. We observed several tables, empty and clean. Someone approached us and said we could be seated in one or two hours. When we asked to make a reservation for two hours later, she said she could not accommodate us. She first said that a staff member had an emergency leaving them short handed. Then she said the kitchen told her not to seat any more guests for the night. She said the kitchen was mad. We didn't need all the differing excuses and personell issues. We just wanted dinner. The silver lining is we discovered the Stormy Mountain Brewery. Quick drive. They were busy but they greeted us, seated us and we had a great dinner experience. Go there. Get the house made Pretzel. You...
