I would rate my stay closer to a 4.5/5 due to some minor hiccups during my 2-night stay. This is a new property and upon entering the lobby, the hotel still has that brand new smell. We were warmly greeted upon check-in and quickly given our room keys. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was very spacious with a full kitchen, living room with a desk and couch, bedroom, and bathroom. ||Pros:|- the bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept great|- the shower pressure was fantastic |- the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials that you would need during a longer and shorter stay (e.g. pots, pans, toaster oven)|- we didn’t enjoy some of the other amenities such as outdoor seating, lobby bar, and pool but all seemed very nice |- immaculately clean|- friendly staff |-great location…Lenox is a 5 minute drive and Stockbridge was a 10-15 minute drive ||Cons:|- this was a a first for me: it appeared that using too much electricity at once in the room tripped the circuit breaker multiples times. For reference we stayed in room 303. After housekeeping cleaned our room, we noticed the fridge stopped working resulting in our food sitting in a unchilled fridge for hours. We called down to the front desk and they instructed us to check the electrical panel which did the trick. However, when I attempted to use the microwave, another circuit breaker kept tripping. I discovered that I couldn’t have the under cabinet kitchen lights and microwave on at the same time. I’ve stayed in hotels and resorts all around the world and I’ve never had a problem like that.|- Both TVs repeatedly kept freezing during our entire stay. I don’t know if it was a connection issue, but was annoying while trying to watch football games.|- Not the biggest deal in the world, but we were on the 3rd floor and there was no ice machine on our floor. We had to go down to the 2nd floor. ||All-in-all, this was a solid hotel for a long weekend in the Berkshires. I would return, but some kinks still need to be worked out, which is expected for a brand...
Read moreWe had an incredible 5-night stay at the new Element hotel! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and also traveling with a newborn. From the moment we arrived, we felt extremely welcomed by Shawn, who was so warm, helpful, and eager to tell us about all the hotel had to offer.
We were lucky to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom room because of my Marriott status, and the suite was beautiful and spacious with a full kitchen. The bathroom was extremely spacious with a large walk-in shower (no bath tub), and we felt the water pressure was normal and not too low (mentioning this because of other reviews we saw).
Each morning we went down for the complimentary breakfast which included freshly cooked hot foods with eggs each day and a rotation of other foods (pancakes, sausages, etc.). There was also a Chobani yogurt station with fresh fruits, granola, and nuts. In addition to all this there was also pastries and whole fruit.
The lobby is beautifully designed and while the hotel is still waiting on their liquor license, we did order some mocktails and flatbreads and sat in the lobby to play games. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was!
Another bonus for us was the EV charging outside the hotel since we have a plugin hybrid. There were 4 spots available and we never had an issue with availability.
The location was perfect as Lenox is in between Stockbridge and Pittsfield so there was lots to do. Directly across the street from the hotel is the Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary which I would highly recommend! The scenery is beautiful and the trails were easy to walk while carrying an infant. We also loved visiting Shaker Village which was only ~15 minutes away.
Finally, we have to give a shoutout to all the staff that did such an amazing job in making our time special - Shawn, Muriel, Gabriel, and Maya to...
Read moreWonderful brand new long stay hotel. I live on Cape Cod, MA and visit The Berkshires every fall. Since my dad was a former school superintendent in Lee, MA back in the early 80's. I have fond memories as a kid growing up there. I've stayed at other hotels in the area but Element was a cut WAY above the rest. It felt more like a high end apartment building than a hotel. I also took my small Jack Russell dog with me and he had PLENTY of space to walk around the grounds and go potty. My 500 square foot 1 king bed suite was fantastic. I had a full size fridge, microwave, 2 burner electric stove top, full sink, and dishwasher. Plus, the king bed was extra comfy and walk in shower with a door was most welcomed. I typically hate small hotel showers with tubs and curtains. The staff was extremely friendly, talkative and attentive to all my needs. I HIGHLY recommend this place it just opened up summer 2025. So they are sure to be a huge hit once more folks learn about them. Oh and the indoor salt water pool yes you heard that right NO CHLORINE was refreshing. So bring your swim gear with you for sure. They also have great laundry facilities on site and a nice lobby snack shop that is open 24/7 for you to get whatever you might like. A bit costly but nice to have on site rather then running out to a convenience store. This will definitely be my go to when visiting the area from now on. 5 stars all...
