Pros: 1-Fast check-in and Alicia at the front desk was great! 2-There was a couch in the room which made watching TV more comfortable. Cons: 1-The air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly. 2-The grave shift front desk guy was never at the front desk. I called at 1145pm to report the a/c problem and he called back 5 minutes later, saying he was away from the front desk "folding towels". I then called at 100am to do a wake-up call and he didn't answer. 3-The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. 4-The positioning of the bed and the a/c made both of us get scratchy throats the entire weekend. 5-They don't have Headline News on their cable, but instead have three different HBO channels. 6-We realized late the first night that we didn't have a "do not disturb" sign. So the next morning, I saw the maid in the hall around 10am and asked her for one. She said she would bring it to me. At 1115am, still hadn't received one but we thought we'd head out anyway. To my surprise, she HAD brought it and hung it on our door. I thought that was a nice gesture, giving it to us without bothering us. So we took it off the door and left for the day. Imagine our surprise when we returned to our room at 645pm and realized THE MAID NEVER CLEANED OUR ROOM! We called down and were told that because we had a do not disturb sign on our door at 1100am, they thought we didn't want service. Mind you, it was a sign that THE HOTEL put on my door! So we never got our room serviced. 7-The pool area is okay - the Jacuzzi is too hot. And the clientele hanging out by the pool is not to be desired. The one guy was watching four kids splashing and jumping into the pool, even though the signs said both were against the rules. As my wife walked by the pool to head to the room, the kids splashed her and she told the kids they weren't supposed to be splashing. The guy ERUPTED and started yelling at her for talking to his kids, and then proceeded to tell the kids to splash some more! 8-I was told by Alicia all that happened and she said she was on the phone with her manager and that they would give me all of the bonus points they could. Today I notice I received 2000 bonus...
Read more(NIGHTMARE) when we approached parking lot at location a blue Ford pick up cut us off and blocked our lane in the parking lot. I asked them if there was a problem stated I was in there lane so they forced us to reverse not a friendly bunch maybe cartel members. Didn't feel very safe upon approaching front dest 1st thing I asked if she felt safe here ? Responded yes of course. Asked if there was security on premises she stated that they made rounds at night 🌙 of course I didn't see security once and didn't feel safe all night for us and my truck Now if that wasn't enough after a shower the floor got very dirty from our wet feet turning the floor to dirt mud mix from all the dirt on it. The pillows stunck so bad I put a bath towel over it and it was still unbearable stinck my girl friend ended up the the sofa and was also very bad at about 5am not being able to sleep from keeping an eye out on our truck and feeling itchy from the filthy bedding and room decided to get ready and check out. Well another nightmare they charged my bank $110 a d $50 . At check out they charged $160 . Further more after calling the general manager she said she credit me $160. Meanwhile she attempted to charge my card $5 $10 $50 and again $110 but at this point it was declined since taking my banks advice and shutting down my bank card. Also they kept my $50 security deposit for what I don't know! I have stayed in 100s of hotels business and leisure and have never experienced such a nightmare I'm Very clean neat and respectful of property always leave rooms neat and tidy so why would they keep my deposit not scientific rip offs unbelievable my bank is still trying to file a claim against them. Also tried calling numerous times to ask about why they kept my deposit but they ignore my calls. And this was our last stay at a hotel on our way home to Portland from Disneyland amazing vacation until this place what a horrible experience rude staff aside from Isaac for the most part and very unsanitary and not a nice welcoming part of town. Beware of this happening to you!...
Read moreNormally I never place bad reviews since I have been using Trip Advisors for I think about 10 years (not sure how long but a long time) Our Family stayed here for a birthday party in Lodi, we booked 4 rooms. I have stayed here previously. Here's my complaint(s) |1. First time I booked directly through Hotel, paid bill and it I paid ADDITIONAL CHARGES for 1 day of $13.20 said they were RESORT FEES at end of receipt......Second time I did not get a final receipt as booked through Priceline, BUT UPON CHECKING OUT I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF I WAS PAID IN FULL, clerk said I was PAID IN FULL and no balance was due, 2 days later I get a charge for $30.12, so called hotel manager, Alicia. She stated it is a CONVENIENCE FEE CHARGE for using their soaps, refrigerator, etc (WHAT... CHARGE FOR USING THEIR PRODUCTS IN THE ROOM?) . I said I was unaware of signing for this and was not advised so verbally. THEY SAID I INITIALED it on the bill ( but couldn't give me a copy)THERE IS A LAW CALLED SB478, which prohibits JUNK FEES FROM BEING CHARGED, I feel I was swindled these additional fees.|2. Pool was "closed".|3. BREAKFAST was good, BUT they ran out of food and had to wait for over 1/2 hour for more food (don't they know how many people are staying at their hotel and plan accordingly?). |4. Wanted our room cleaned on second day we stayed there, was told I had to let them know BEFORE 8:00 AM (did not advise of this also) and it was too late to get room cleaned, so no room cleaning on second day.|5. Washer/Dryer out of order|ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND BED COMFORTABLE AND HOTEL CLERKS WERE NICE| BELOW IS THE SMALL PRINT FOR MY 2024 BILL, but never got the 2025 copy of bill I requested.|Tax and Fee Details |10.69% per night not included in rate effective 22 September, 2024 thru 23 September, 2024 |**12.60 USD per night NOT (hidden fee???) included in rate effective 22 September, 2024 thru 23...
