Buckle up, ladies and gents... This is a wild one! I write this review as I am waiting in the parking lot for them to complete my order.. the time is currently 6:52 pm... I had placed an order online for pick up at 5:45... I had arrived shortly after 5:50, giving them the benefit of the doubt to have my order ready... Upon arrival, I walk to the lobby and notice a small, nearly illegible sign saying that the lobby is closed and to please proceed to the drive through. The drive thru was already a cluster with people entering from both the Cherokee as well as the Kettleman side in a battle of aggressive driving to slither your way into the drive thru lane. As I approached the food window (approx 6:15pm... Yes... 20 minutes in the drive thru lane), I informed them of my order placed online while the cashier at the window blankly stared in utter befuddlement... She disappears for a mere moment returning to inform me that they are going to START preparing my order... Another minute rolls by when who I can only assume is the manager of this "fine establishment" informed me that my meal hasn't even hit the fryer yet, and that it would be an extra 7-10 minutes. Because of my online order, the money had already been debited from my account, so I had no choice but to wait in the parking lot. I observed one of the employees bring out orders to people who were 1-3 cars ahead of me, thinking mine would be next.. I proceeded to wait while noticing multiple cars entering and exiting the drive thru... As the time reached now an hour waiting for my meal for my family, I finally approached the locked lobby... Luckily, there was an employee who had let me in. As I approached the counter, I locked eyes with the manager who proceeded to give me the biggest eye roll this side of the Mississippi River. I told him I'd like to talk to him... And as I explained my situation in my most calm "hangry" fashion, he tried to push off this error to his employees instead of personally taking responsibility for this mishap. I'll be contacting...
Read moreI honestly hate leaving bad reviews and always give the establishment a chance to make it right especially being in the service business myself. We were in town visiting family and on our way out to head back home (8hr drive) we wanted to get Popeyes before hitting the road, we don’t have one back home. We ordered and everything was fine at first. We were being patient as 20mins pass by and we still don’t have our food yet. So as 30mins was approaching we went up and inquired about it; was informed we were waiting on a chicken patty for one of the sandwich’s (I asked how long they take to cook and it’s 7mins) as I was talking with the front counter employee I noticed the rest of our order sitting on the back counter not under a heat rack, ready to go for quite some time. She finally hands me our order and after waiting 30mins the rest of our order had became quite cold to the touch (which goes against health code to hold for longer than 15mins after cooked or let it get under 135 F). I then mentioned the time frame and how cold the food was and asked for half a refund for the wait(30mins) and the cold food so we can just get on the road(we didn’t want it remade so we can leave) The manager said whatever we get a refund for they had to keep and we couldn’t have even though they had held our food for over 20mins on the counter getting cold and soggy. We have been very polite and calm at this point. I explained my position in my business and that this is not proper customer service and I would understand if it was our fault that these issue had occurred however it was not. At the end of it I got a full refund and left all food there after 40mins of time wasted and took our business elsewhere. We where very disappointed since we were pretty excited to get Popeyes but this is how you lose potential lifetime...
Read moreIt took them 14 minutes to even START taking the order of the truck in front of me!!! He finally got out of his car, and peaked around the corner to find out WHY they hadn't acknowledged him when he pulled up to the speaker! I got out of my car to see if I could get out of the line and go in, but couldn't because there were five cars behind me blocking me (I was 2nd in line) and going into the street blocking traffic! Plus, I didn't know if the dining room was open. I don't know WHY restaurants can't post it large on their windows if dining rooms are open or not! We don't know, because some are and some aren't! Then, when "Karina" finally took my order, there was no apology no professionalism not even acknowledgement of the unreasonable wait time! So I said to her, "You should throw in an extra piece of chicken for my inconvenience". But she just said, "If I did that for you I'd have to do it for everybody". I asked to talk to her manager, and she didn't say anything just was gone and "Jessica" got on the speaker, so I repeated what I told Karina and she just said the same thing! No apology, no friendliness- just didn't care that I waited so long for them to take my order. NOT professional! Also, when Karina got back on to take my order, she didn't repeat it OR give me my total, so I didn't know if she got it! She didn't say ANYthing, not even a "Thank you", so I knew she heard me! I had to ask HER, "Did you get my order? What's my total?"!!! SO impersonal, unfriendly, and unprofessional- her AND...
