Starbucks — Restaurant in Lodi

The Kettleman Rd @ Beckman location of Starbucks is GREAT. I must be honest and say that I have been frequenting this location for a month now and whenever I come in, usually with 2 puppies, it always puts a smile on my face to see that Barista Tay and/or Jaime are on shift. These 2 ladies are highly enthusiast and personable. I have visited the location @ Kettleman and Hutchins, but I find it lacking. Here though, the outdoor seating area is well shaded, and the store itself is kept clean, even during the midst of a rush. I have witnessed problems between a few of the employee's, but I have also seen how management brought them together to work things out. This location of Starbucks is by far the best I have Ever seen. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say that this location definitely would be one of the only places I would say deserved a 10. They don't judge people by the way they dress, or color of skin. It is a pleasure to find such a business in today's world. And yes, part of my feelings toward both Batista's mentioned (Tay & Jaime) comes from the fact that even coming on shift they have asked if the puppies needed water. Most businesses around Lodi look in disdain at the fact that I bring these animals with me everywhere, even though these puppies can not be classified as service animals yet, due to only being 2 1/2 months old. This is my go-to place during the summer while working for a blended coffee. Love their caramel ribbon crunch. Other than that, my honey and I love their breakfast sandwiches they have. I'm not a fan of the poached eggs used on many breakfast sandwiches, so I always get the bacon, egg and Gouda cheese one for that reason. Some locations sell out of these fast, but haven't had a issue when I have gone to this location. During the summer, they have little table and chairs that are outside year round, but are nice to sit at when weather is warm. One of the only complaints I have with this location is how their drive thru is laid out. Early weekday mornings the line can get quite long. Their entrance to their drive thru is right at the entrance to turn into the 7-11 gas station. So you can either line up going back toward their gas pumps or line up coming from the direction of the hotel in behind there- but then you block anyone trying to exit potentially. Just not a well thought out design for the morning rush. Overall, well it's Starbucks. They are all pretty consistent with how they are. If one is too busy, drive a couple blocks and there'll be another one lol. I think there are 5 or 6 in Lodi alone- with 3 being in the same shopping center at the Safeway shopping center...

I went to Starbucks today and a guy with puckered up lips, kinda wavy fluffy hair, was taking orders (through the drive-thru). And him and a girl made my drink the best. I got a mango dragon fruit refresher blended and topped with strawberry purée and whipped on top. I’m not lying when I say in my 2 years of going to Starbucks ordering this same drink, this was the best, I would die for this drink. I do not know his name but I hope he gets a raise. Because on top of making my drink amazing he was also super sweet and in general made me have a nice day. They ended up giving us a free drink because the girl accidentally put sweet cream cold foam on top of one drink. We asked how the drink was made and he happily told us everything with patience. He should get a raise, if I could only have one drink for the rest of my life it would be this one. Today I had the best experience I have ever had at Starbucks in 2+ years.
