Budget Inn-Lompoc — Hotel in Lompoc

WARNING. Very dangerous for WOMEN. DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager was very unstable AND dangerous. He used a tactic to set me up so that he could refuse you service and keep your money. I walked in around 6pm to check in for a one night stay. I WAS IN TOWN ON BUSINESS. The owner came out and looked ANGRY. He abruptly said, "IF YOU ARE TRYING TO BRING THAT KID IN HERE I WILL KICK YOU OUT". Apparently he mistook ME FOR some woman who had called earlier that he had an argument with. I told him I was not that person and that I made a reservation online. He then said, "I can refuse service, and I don't like the way you look so I refuse you service. LEAVE" He GAVE NO reason and just asked me to leave" This ALL transpired in less than two minutes and HE LITERALLY ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY. I'm a business professional and a middle aged woman, and this guy just tried to steal my money. When I called HOTELS.COM they REFUNDED ME ALL MY MONEY BACK. On arrival, the hotel reception staff was helpful and non issues at this point, however there was a very rude neighbourwho loved to watch robocop at 4am very loudly and to make natters worse, the toilet and bath started to flood. We could not do any as no plunger in the room.||At 7 am, i seeked assistance from reception but not able to help, When i asked if there was a spare room so we could use to go toilet, they told me to continue to use it knowing its flooded, and to use the towels to soak up the water. How disgusting at 7am. |I asked for a spare room she said no, and there is no on-site maintenance as they lived 30mins away. And no other toilets on site that we could use, had wait 45mins to use toilet at a different hotel as the only solution was to move to another hotel 1/2 mike down the road, but then had to wait 30mins for the reception to open. |On arrival at the 2nd hotel, the supervisor was very helpful and able to provide a room for a shower and toilet. |To say this was a rubbish...

Booked on booking.com and paid in advance, should definitely not have, apparently their office hours ended at 8 while I got there at 9:30 as I’d specified, rang doorbell and nobody came, called number on office door but someone had written a number over one of the numbers and in my exhausted state from driving all day, I didn’t think to look up the number online to see if it matched, couldn’t see the number under it, nobody answered. Had to drive somewhere else to find a place to stay, contacted for a refund but they refused said I should have rang the doorbell (I did) and if that failed, called their number (I tried) maybe they should’ve had the correct number clearly visible. Person who contacted me back about my refund request was pretentious and didn’t contact me again when I emailed back to specify that I’d tried all the things they said I should have done.
