Mini Mansion in Hollywood Hills — Hotel in Los Angeles

The most horrendous experience I have ever had with a hotel. The owner met us at the door and at first seemed receptive, but when he saw my wife's service dog he refused to let us in. We explained that our dog is a service animal and even volunteered a registration card (which we are not required to do by law) and he still refused us entry. He told us to cancel the reservation on Hotels.com and I said we couldn't because it was non-refundable. He said he didn't care and that we have a "killer dog".||||I explained to him that he was currently breaking the law and was not allow to refuse us for having a service animal. He said that we both look fine and are not disabled and do not need a service dog. My wife - who is very visibly 7 months pregnant by-the-way and now in tears - tells him we will sue him. Because she has an accent he started yelling at her that she "is not from here" and to "go back to her country". I thought this sort of bigotry only existed in bad movies.||||I have never, ever, in all my life experienced such rudeness, ignorance, and discrimination. He refused to give his name and usually I let this sort of blind stupidity slide, but we will be filing a police report tomorrow and pursuing legal action through the U.S. Department of Justice. It boggles my mind that the owner is really so incompetent to either not know the law, or is wilfully breaking the law and putting a tremendous amount of undue stress on a woman in her third trimester. It took a long time for my wife to finally be able to calm down...thank goodness her f*ing service dog was by her side.||||See you in court.||||For reference look up "ADA service animal" on the DOJ website.||||P.S. Horrible. Black mold, no hot water in shower. Only 3 towels for 5 people- not that we were able to shower with ice cold water. Like still ice cold after running for 10 minutes- we were told it just takes time. Expedia wasn’t able to get a hold of him at the time. Extra charges, don’t k ow why because the room sleeps 5, With the black mold in the bathroom we were not interested in the food produced by this establishment. So we forfeited our breakfast. Then, at approximately 9 o’clock, two hours before our checkout time, our table was removed from our garden space that was included in our rental was cleared, and we were told not to use the deck, as it was being prepped for refinishing. This was our private exit and entrance… owner had nothing but excuses/lies about how we needed to turn the faucet this way and that, how water bill is crazy. That we should have come and told him. (I promise you it wasn’t the faucet) I had tried to find him, but when I went upstairs, I ran into an old man with his pants half down who was apparently also, looking for the owner. I am grateful that my children did not witness this man. Then we called Expedia and the agent wasn’t able to get through to him either. All together this room cost me just under $450 for one night. We couldn’t even shower. I’m sure your really struggling with that water bill. Maybe that’s why you turn off the hot water on...

We recently stayed in this hotel. If I could only leave "0" stars I will! This is the worse place we have ever stay in. No working AC, not enough towels in rooms. Very poor and rude communication, no real parking space. There is only a drive way for 2 cars and one space is occupied by the owner so there is really one space left and you have to move your car or wait for someone else to move their car when leaving. The owner of the place is horrible!!! Super rude, he was yelling at his maid all the time while we were having breakfast. When I said yelling I meant it. She has cero manners nor education. She is from a different ethnicity than us. there was another family at the same time eating breakfast which happens to be on the dinning room and the kitchen. This family of the same ethnicity as the owner was having the VIP treatment lol while been super nice to them she was taking away everything from our table and yelling at the poor lady that work for her to bring everything to the other table :/||We felt super uncomfortable staying here. If you want to know what is it to be discriminated because of the race this is the place to go! But also who wants to listened to someone yelling while on vacation??? come on!!! ||That been said we will never come back and we will advise everyone to not...
