Where do I even start. Please don’t waste your money here. I was traveling for my little cousins funeral for one night and right off the bat I had to deal with the rude lady in the front desk, who threatened to kick out those who weren’t in the booking. Instead of feeling welcomed I felt threatened. They require $50 cash ONLY deposit and claim it used to be $100. There was also a rude man who yelled at me for only asking for a receipt of what I was paying for. I kept my composure the entire time and I never was rude to them despite what I was going through. He proceeded to say that I wouldn’t get a receipt in any hotel ever. There was also a language barrier due to the staff having a heavy Indian accent. They also have staff members watching your every move at all times. I booked here because reviews said it was “clean”. The walls were dirty and when you open the window you get a view of the dirty backyard. I never thought that paying for great costumer service was important till now. Lesson learned and I will never be coming back to Solo Motel Broadway. Book at your own risk. And no reserve your fake “business” reply trying to act...

The staff were extremely friendly and kind. When i arrived, I had a warm welcome.
Your ID will be checked at reception. A reminder to bring $50 cash deposit with you when you arrive. (You will get this back at the end of your stay)
I am a female in my 20s and I was travelling alone. The area is not the safest, however you are completely safe when you are on site of the motel. There is 24 hour security and cameras too. (do not wander around the area at night)
Santa Monica, Hollywood, Venice, Melrose, Rhode Drive, Beverly Hills, are all a 45 -1 drive away (If you drive, your car is completely safe on site onsite) I used Lyft everywhere (most journeys are around ($18- $22)
It was a very pleasant stay...Thank you for providing me with great accommodation at a great price for my short trip to Los Angeles.I will be visiting Los Angeles again very...
Read moreThis was a business trip. I stayed at this motel for a total of six nights in room 105. The room was just as seen in the photos, very open, big, and turquoise. The staff was friendly, although the spouse of the manager is not so kind. I can tell they deal with some not so nice people though, and can understand her attitude. The motel has a single EV charger, which was perfect for my visit. The downsides of this motel includes not having a coffee pot or microwave in the room, the towels are old, the bedding is old, and the Friday/Saturday night patrons are loud and obnoxious. The motel itself is in a very intimidating part of town, police choppers flew over almost twice a day minimum. The Citizen app always had assault or robbery incidents nearby. I will say, after everything I saw in South LA, the hotel felt very safe and was a comfortable place to rest each night. It would add to the security vibe if the entrance had an automatic and lockable gate for tenants considering the night window is facing...
