I am in the process of moving and typically stay at this hotel and one other. On February 6th I try to check in and my reservation is canceled. I notice there is a new guy named Jack apparently working and he then tells me my reservation is canceled or not listed. I tell him hotels.com still shows it’s booked. So it’s late and I’m already there so before I can pay the regular rate, Jack then gets a phone call and he tells the customer that it will be $90 for smoking and $100 for non smoking. No problem so I get ready to pay and he says it’s 100 for tonight. At this point I’m exhausted and tired from working all day so I just paid. In the morning I mention hey, I was overcharged but no biggie. So now they are claiming the manager is never there. I keep calling trying to be civil but I was even hung up on by the lady that works there. I typically have no problem with the two gentleman that normally check me in but Jack and the lady are really rude. He lied only face and overcharged me after my reservation was canceled which was $30 cheaper. To add, I was offered the weekly rate to stay the last few times I came by the nice gentleman that normally work at night. So I see one of them leaving as I’m arriving and also mention the weekly rate and he agrees and tells me it’s fine. Jack then discredits him and says, he’s just an employee he has no say. What type of business discredits it’s employees that work there and talk about them when they leave for work??? So I wasn’t offered the weekly rate and I was charged extra!!! To add, Jack also took my license and begin gathering my information but insisted on speaking with someone in the back room about me. For the record, as mentioned I’m in the process of moving so I’ve spent thousands with this motel and to only be treated like nothing!! I will never stay here again!! And don’t recommend with the inconsistency of the business. Jack and the lady that work there are very rude and need customer service classes! Horrible way to deal with...
Read moreIf you like broken syringes and crack pipes on the ground , this is the place to be. And if rudeness and a holier than thou attitude by management is tolerable to you, you'll love it here. Party city every weekend, with all the things that come with that. Like heavy pot smell in the hallway. Crimminal activity in the parking lot, i.e. drug sales , people arguing in the middle of the night, sex parties with loud oohs and aaghs from the room next door. We had our car broken into and despite having camaras everywhere on the property, the management denied having any tapes available to see who had been the perpetrator(s). This is not a place you would want your children to be. We stayed a week here and got grilled by the manager for anything, despite being working people who kept quite and went to work early morning , returned in the evenings to have our rest. I guess the management is quite content with the clientele they attract because I was rudely told to call the police if I saw any criminal activity when I mentioned the heavy marijuana smell to him when he came to complain about the smell of cooking coming from our room,( we were heating leftover pizza in an electfic pan). And if that's not enough, rent by the week and then you have to practicably beg them for clean towels and linen. They treat us like crimminals when we are the only decent people here. The cleaning staff is grossly overworked because they are understaffed so of course they cut corners, literally. Dirty carpeting with months of accumulated dust along the walls in corners and on the drapes. . A persistant stale odor permeates the building, like it smells after a wild party or a military battle the day after. In a nutshell, rudeness, drugs, parties, uncleanliness, a your on your own attitude by management. I'm sincere in my criticism and hope that the management would use this as a way to improve a visitors experience here, and learn to distinquish between working people and...
Read moreLet's talk about the hotel experience I had. The front desk staff, particularly the woman in charge, was notably unfriendly and seemed quite unhappy dealing with customers. It's perplexing to see someone who interacts with the public but doesn't seem to enjoy it at all, especially when they are the face of the business. Despite being rated 2.5 stars on Priceline, the hotel's service and quality were so poor, it truly deserved a lower rating.
Upon arrival, the receptionist provided a long list of strict rules, making it clear that guests were under close surveillance and that any violation, including having guests in the room, would result in immediate eviction without a refund. During my time in the lobby, I witnessed a couple complaining about the state of their room – it was dirty, the bed was unmade, and there was leftover trash. Astonishingly, instead of offering a solution, the woman at the desk accused them of causing the mess, despite their recent arrival.
Their request for a refund was flatly denied. While I understand the complexities of managing refunds in a business, there's an expectation of basic standards of service and cleanliness, which were not met here. Due to Priceline's non-refundable policy, I felt compelled to check in, only to discover that I might have been assigned the same unclean room as the previous guests. I chose to leave immediately.
The hotel's cleanliness was severely lacking, almost to the point where it would only be a marginal step up for someone without shelter. The customer service was deplorable, characterized by rudeness and hostility. The condition of the building and rooms was also unsatisfactory, with a pervasive unpleasant odor.
This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I advise against staying at this hotel. It's not worth the time, money, or stress. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so notably bad that it warranted a...
