Excellent choice!!!!
All over forty guests enjoyed the eclectic specialty dishes that we served from Kalesa Grill.
The cebuchon (similarly compared to Italy's porchetta) was the best to find in town. It was particularly roasted in select herbs and spices from inside that infused umami flavors - it was gone by the end of the party!!!
The beef steak (Philippine style) was an impeccable 'bistig' cooked lightly in a traditional onion-soy sauce gravy with uniquely spread home-cut potatoes.
Baked salmon were delicately prepared over local diced leafy greens that perfectly paired with two noodle dishes, the known - Pancit Malabon (palabok), and Pancit Canton (Bihon).
We would not have ever missed, the crispy Lumpia spring rolls, Shanghai-style complimented by a lightly sweet red dip sauce to taste.
For vegetables, we opted with a traditional Chop suey cooked in its most delicious gravy to put on top a plate serving of steamed white rice. Another Philippine favorite was the Ginataang Langka, a mildly red and green chili-spiced coconut-sauce jackfruit medley, superbly cooked that any vegetarian would not look for anything else even as a meal by itself.
Lastly, the Hopia Like It (trademark). A Philippine favorite sweet treat that came with a variety of colorful flavors. The flaky pastry had fillings of several choices served, the Buko-Pandan, Ube, Yellow Bean, Hopia-baboy, etc.

The rest were either talking to each other or walking around inside the counter. In a normal food or service counter, the other 2 were supposed to help out. Also, there is another problem when its time to pay for your food. Nobody's manning the cashier booth and I have to wait for a few minutes to be attended. You could lose your appetite before eating with these not so pleasant experience. The food may be good but the service is not. You've got no choice because there is no other Filipino...
