My reservation at the hotel in Louisville was canceled because it was overbooked. I needed a place to stay last minute. Only room available was at a @redroofinn next to a @wafflehouseofficial. Horrible Motel, first off waited 20 minutes to check in, then when I got to my room it wasnt even ready, bed needed made, crumbs all over the floor. So I went back to the front desk waited 15 mins and the guy said we will have your room ready in about 30mins. Then turned on the tv and this floating banner would not go away. Called front desk twice and no answer, so I went back down to front desk and waited another 20mins and he said someone would be up shortly to look at the tv this was about 6pm. Waited a couple hours and no one showed up, seen manager walking the hall and told him no one came, then again he said ok give me a minute ill find someone, here it was 11pm and no one hade came. Came morning we where highly upset, then happened to notice stains all over the pillow. Flagged down the Ast. manager and showed her, she said we checked those pillows before putting on the cases, like im the one who did it, I said there is no stains on the pillow cases and besides I brought my own pillow I just use a spare to rest my arm on. She went off on me yelling at me if I dont like it to leave, which I had a couple events that day and most motels where booked up and that wasnt an option. The outside of the motel was trashed, trash everywhere, trash over flowing the cans. Elevator had no weight capacity or certificate of operation on it sounded like it was about to brake down. Toilet kept running, pregnant lady was arguing with a man in the parking lot and kept screaming for about 30 minutes. Some guy was having an argument with someone on his phone at 1:30am right by my door and woke us up. Drag racing going on, drug deal in broad daylight in the parking lot. Management and staff was rude and hateful. I called corporate about all this and they contacted the manager which she lied and said that the problem had been resolved when it wasnt. You dont see any staff till around noon except a front desk person and a couple of ladies doing laundry. Only good thing was there weren't any bugs, but give that some time cause these owners are running this motel to the ground.

Well, Um where do you start! The elevator that you use instead of the stairs that are so long and really over drawn out. But it stopped between floors. Made some noise and then didn't want to close the door. Then it takes off and makes another noise that. Made me think that I am about to either fall or be stuck in. So the room. Well I can say dirty, like I found a ORIO ®™ IN THE FLOOR right beside the bed. Almost in the middle of the floor. So it was like right in front of the table with the phone so if you know you know what I am talking about. Then the beds, OMG this is the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in, in my life of being in a hotel. I feel every spring. It's knotty kinda and the sheet, comforter, pillow case, is dirty, I took those down, but I did have a issue myself (person) and I had used a towel to clean it up. OK and I go to turn these in and I am told to go to the place where there washers are and drop and also request for new. Thank you - that would have been nice, but I have to get there and I get, "yes sir, what do you have? I tell her the items. She looks with a weird look and says right out here, I said ok and I placed them into the bin. Well she goes and starts looking at the items and she stopped and said to me anything else," I I say no but I would like sheet, pillowcase, and towel,. I only got a pillow case and then ask me what room are you in! I told her.... But why ask!?! I don't know but one thing as it stands! YOU GET!!! WHAT THE Fû€£ You pay for!!! IT is what it is!!!

The absolute worst experience that I have ever had with a hotel. I requested a handicap accessible room due to my disability. I am a left lefamputated, suffer from chronic pain related to that, and of course have a difficult time climbing stairs.

I was handed key cards for a room on the highest floor and told the entire facility was booked. I waited for my husband to arrive and we decided to go to a different hotel. I went to advise the clerk and retrieve the payment I had made less than 30 minutes ago. He absolutely refused to return my money, which was all we had. I explained to him that without the cash in his possession I will be forced to sleep sleep outside. Knowing my specific disability from our earlier conversation, Brandon the desk clerk advised me that I could make a two-hour walk to the YMCA homeless shelter and sleep there. In addition, he was intent making it clear to me that there was no way he would take me there himself in his car. I had not asked, suggested, implied or even hinted that I wanted to be in an enclosed area with a clerk from a hotel alone. We were advised to return in the morning and request to speak with the hotels manager Jamie Harris. We arrived that morning at 10 a.m. and were abruptly acknowledged by Mr. Paris who in a matter of about 2 minutes made his stance clear that this employee "never lies", that the three customers there to witness his actions were lying. Said there was no way he said I should walk to the shelter. Mr Parisar looked me in the eye while basically accusing me of being a liar, and of using my disability as an excuse to make someone else look bad. It was the most offensive comment anyone has made to me since my he acccident. He was degrading, rude, and completely insensitive to my basic needs as a human being and their obligation to accommodate my disability. Her voice continually rose as she accused me and my husband of being Liars and to leave the hotel immediately. It was a most unprofessional and blatantly mean incident ive4experience in a public business setting. My husband has made their corporate office aware of it we have contact with her complaint line and I feel as if it is being swept into the rug and basically defended. Red Roof Inn things to breed an environment of unprofessional, discourteou, and hateful employees and supervision then Pat them on the back when they knock one out of the park. If you want to be treated like a human being I suggest avoid Red Roof Inn, there is always a hotel less than two blocks away that has the same price and much more courteous...

My husband, son and I stayed at this location due to its close proximity to an event held at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, and also for the price, which was about half to 2/3 the price of the other nearby hotels. Due to the lower price, I wasn't expecting much, but the website said that rooms had been recently renovated, and the pictures looked good. The rooms did seem to be updated a bit even though the exterior of the facility was certainly showing its age, but some of the furniture was worn. I know you get what you pay for, but here are my observations: - First, I will say that the front desk staff, both at check-in and check-out were very helpful and courteous....definitely the highlight of the stay. - The toilet took a very, very long time to flush. I don't know if it is an issue with water pressure or what, but the water swirled around in the bowl for at least 30 seconds before finally going down. We actually thought it was going to overflow. Strange, to say the least. - Although the sheets smelled of bleach (so I assume they were clean) they were stained and almost threadbare. It did leave me to wonder if the bedspreads are changed between guests, though. As far as comfort, the mattresses leave a lot to be desired. All three of us had trouble sleeping and were stiff and sore when we awoke. - we had a room with two double beds that is supposed to sleep four, but we were only given two sets of incredibly small and thin towels. The front desk person gladly gave me a third for our son when asked, however, having to traipse to the lobby at 6:00 a.m. was not my idea of fun. - There is not a hair dryer in the room. I should have checked the site when packing, but I assumed the small wall-mount dryers are fairly standard these days, especially since the rooms had been recently renovated. - And, although expected due to its proximity to the airport, the noise level was fairly high throughout the night. - Lastly, and definitely what bothered me the most, was all the trash. We arrived around 4:00 pm to check in, and had to leave for our event shortly thereafter. Upon arrival, there were bags of trash everywhere, which we had to maneuver around to get up the stairs and to our room. It was a little inconvenient, but understandable due to the time of day. However, some of the bags were still there when we returned that evening and when we checked out the following morning. As I noted earlier, the price was about half of other nearby hotels. So, if price is your main concern, this location should...

The short of it: Good: -Location, being very close to the airport and other major places -Two Bedroom had a working microwave, fridge, and T.V. -The heat works really well Bad: -Cockroaches -Mold in the bathroom -Tub wouldn't drain -The area has a bit of a seedy vibe to it, but I didn't have any trouble personally -Noisy

I stayed via a CLC booking for work. The staff was friendly enough for being as busy as it was. You definitely have to catch them during the day early if you want any cleaning, linens, or other services. Once the day shift people are gone, you're on your own.

The room itself was a two bed with a microwave and fridge that seemed cleaned and well kept at first glance, but upon closer inspection it's obvious they don't move the fridge or clean places that are just out of reach like behind the toilet or around the fixtures. All appliances and lights worked properly except for the TV remote, no batteries!

Now that I've gone through all of the typical things, I can get to the issues I had with the place. The biggest problem were the roaches, my room was absolutely infested. They say you see one and that means there's hundreds more you don't see, so what if you see around 20? I slept with my lights on just to try and deter the things, but it didn't stop them from putting on a show at night. I swear the whole floor was moving at one point when I got up to use the bathroom.

Speaking of the bathroom, that's where my next two issues are along with more of those very friendly cockroaches. The bathtub did not drain properly at all. I spent a bit of time fishing out a cockroach that was previously hidden in the drain before actually taking a shower. The poor drainage and excess moisture explains the abundance of yet another unwanted nuisance, mold. Most of the ceiling in the bathroom was coated with mold.

I'll end this review on the noise levels. I did hear a lot of commotion throughout the night from other guests, so that along with the airport and expressway being nearby means plenty of noise day in, day out. If you're a heavy sleeper, then it won't be a problem. Otherwise, bring earplugs or find...
