Food was good, but the experience was not. First issue: I went through the drive-thru last night, and ordered four chicken sandwiches with large fries. The reason I ordered large fries is because the last time I ordered this sandwich with the fries (which was my first time ordering the new chicken sandwich) it came with an order of fries in a little, tiny box that looked like it was for a child. I remembered that and thought the men in my family would not think that was enough fries so I ordered large fries to go with all four chicken sandwiches. I was told my total was $35. I was shocked about that and when I got to the window to pay I asked if it would have been cheaper to order combos with drinks. I was not given an answer to that question. Instead the girl said the price was so high because I ordered large fries. So I said then give me the regular size that comes with it. She said she would take care of it, and when I got home I looked at my receipt and realized she didn't re-ring the order with the regular fries she just took off $5. One "Civil Service" discount of $3.31 and two "$1" off. So I still paid $29.48 for four chicken sandwiches with fries. (I am posting a picture of the receipt with the order number and cashier's name blacked out as I don't want to single anyone out.) My order was correct, hot and the chicken sandwich was good, but they gave me four HUGE boxes of fries. (Picture attached) I did not want boxes of fries this huge. They used a box for each order of fries that you would normally receive a multiple piece chicken meal with biscuit and fries in it. I was up charged $2.40 for each order of fries before the discount. That adds up to $9.60 so taking $5 off and still giving me HUGE boxes of fries was not what I asked the drive-thru cashier to do. So, you guys at Popeye's only have two sizes of fries? Teeny tiny or super huge? I was not offered a medium size if it even exists! Second issue: As a former restaurant owner I know a score of "100" from the Health Department gives you a proud "A" to hang on your window. I sat in the drive-thru for more than twenty minutes, and since I was there so long I noticed a couple of things. One of them was that this location received a "B" grade from the Health Department, but someone had taken a black sharpie and wrote over the number score and wrote "100". No, you don't get a "B" for a score of "100" which made me think what else were they trying to hide? Third issue: The amount of time it took for them to make this order. I sat in the drive-thru for more than twenty minutes and at least fifteen was at the window. Fourth issue: As I sat at the window for so long I personally witnessed three female employees drinking from their own personal drinks with no lids behind the counter. That is part of the reason restaurants make a "B" grade from the Health Dept. only these women didn't get...

I went to this Popeyes location last night around 10:40 PM and had one of the worst drive‑thru experiences ever. I was the only car in line and waited 30 minutes just to reach the order menu—only to be told by a manager outside that we had to pull up to the window to order. After another 10 minutes in line, we placed our order:

4‑piece combo with red beans & rice + drink

Order of fries

(2) Strawberry & cream cheese pies

The manager then told us, “we shouldn’t be served because it’s closing hour.” That was confusing and frustrating—we arrived during store hours and had already waited over 40 minutes.

When we finally got our food:

4‑piece chicken combo: chicken was old, dry, and hard—not fresh at all.

Fries: hot, fresh, and very good.

Pies: made perfectly.

I didn’t appreciate spending my money on old, disregarded food for me and my family after being told they had to “make/fry our order” fresh. If you say the food is being cooked fresh, it should actually be fresh—not reheated leftovers at closing time.

The service was unacceptable. No customer should be told they “shouldn’t be served” just because it’s close to closing time—especially after waiting this long. I won’t be returning to...

This place is awful. First you wait for over 30 minutes in the drive thru line and then to get home and find out my order was wrong is ridiculous. So when I call, I informed them that my order was wrong and was told by a manager that I could come back the next day, to find out that they werent going to replace my order. Even though they just said the day before that they would, is ridiculous. The manager on duty saw in my phone that I had called and yet in still he (Omar) would only replace half of my order. So then frustrated as ever I pull off and decide to check my half order, to then see that my order is still wrong. So now back around to sit in this long drive thru line. No apology, for the inconvenience or even an "what kind of strips" or "sauce would you like"; they just throw it and the bag and expected me to be happy and get over it. Also and they did not say "have a nice day, " even though they had me waste gas and time also energy. I will never spend my hard earned money...

I arrived at 845 pm says they don't close until ten or eleven either way it was way before closing time. I seen this inside but I'm a Caucasian male and I was told they are closed and I have to wait for my door dash in a 20 plus minute wait in the drive through gas is to expensive for me to do this everywhere for 20 minutes at a time I'll never make money except my gas money back. They just decide to close when they feel like it. It's not my fault that they're understaffed and they want to close early because they feel like it that's not my problem I have a job to do my job is to deliver food and if I can't get this food in a timely manner then I can't make money so this is my job too but I'm forced to wait in the Drive-Thru while these others are allowed to go inside in order hundreds of dollars and food came out with four bags of food but I'm a Caucasian man and I'm not allowed in I think I'll be looking into this further and talking to someone higher up

There's no reason why any customer in a drive-thru line at Popeyes should wait 30 minutes for an order made through the app! Then wait an additional 5-10 minutes for your order to be brought to the window, during which you're told that the butterfly shrimp you ordered with your dinner isn't available, but they can give you popcorn shrimp. And then you discover, contrary to what is on the expeditor ticket, there are neither any fries or BBQ sauce. I could see at least 4 individuals through the drive-thru window, but I'm not certain what any of them were doing. You might want to pass on this location. UPDATE: Made another mistake - had a short memory and paid them another visit. Along with being out of cole slaw, and then getting my order wrong, I got a bad order of red beans and rice - tasted sour, like it was turning. Yep. Stay away.
